They are going to have something like that right? Becuase, Imo, it is one of the best things ever, like shooting lights and making them shatter, windows, etc.

SKAThis was pretty unusual, because most children at his age wanted to become great warriors, known all through time as saviors of, well, anything - Toroabok

QUOTE(Soulseeker3.0 @ Sep 28 2005, 06:24 PM) heh funny thought Shogun, yeah I was thinking like in Hitman 2, you can attack anything and atleast a mark was left there. this could probably be easily done, but then the question is raised: does the mark stay there? if not, what happened to it? what would stop the player from marking up an entire wall or house? it just goes on... however something that would be sweet is if you pulled out a giant battle axe and cut a table in half. that would be awesome.

QUOTE(ShogunSniper @ Sep 28 2005, 10:48 PM) lets say you have a cup on the table. that cup is worth 3 septims. you pull out youre warhammer and smash the cup. so what now? do you pick up all the pieces and sell them? is that cup lost forever?
id say theres no problem in that. if you smash a cup its lost forever. your fault. like in real life. selling pieces of the cup will not work. no big problem. QUOTE(ShogunSniper) does the mark stay there? if not, what happened to it? what would stop the player from marking up an entire wall or house? it just goes on...
therell be a limit for marks stored. they will vanish over time, and you cant make more than, lets say, 50 - 100. other engines handle it that way, so will oblivion. i dont see a problem with that neither. QUOTE(Soulseeker3.0) I would love to goof off with my arrows on buildings and then go and pick them up again if they weren't damaged.
thats what they said, you can do. shoot arrows and pick them up again. already confirmed.

i would say it depends on material. while you can smash glass stuff, you wouldnt be able to break metal stuff. and if you really are patient enough to smash all stuff in the game world, just to find out if its gonna be reproduced or not, please do so well see you sometime around the end of next year then

OMG DID YOU GUYS EVEN GO TO THE E3 AWARDS!?!?!?!?!?! i watched it, the demonstrator was showing us the interactive environment, he was in a cave, he saw goblins sitting around a fire....like 12 of them, and then he took his bow, shot the chain which was attatched to a chandolere and it fell on all 12. he also went to a bookshop, talked to this lady (whom was the owner) and he tlaked and talked, until she got tired. she fell asleep, and there was this dog barking outside....well, what would any TES fan do??? SHE WENT OUTSIDE AND CAST MAGIC ON THE DOG INGULFING IT IN FLAMES!!! it was hilarious! so, yeah. the environment is interactive, FULLY interactive, exept for busting windows on houses.
