burntsierra! YOU like Mankell....wow it´s hilarious....do you read him in swedish then? biggrin.gif
Nope tongue.gif . We started to get the translations of his books about 2 years ago. I've been avidly collecting them ever since. "Before the Frost" is due out in paperback in 2 days, I've been waiting impatiently for it for ages. Can't wait to see how he uses Linda.

Movies?! No, we don't have them. Are they made for T.V. or cinema releases?

David Eddings is a fantasy writer, wrote the Belgariad story, a five volume story. he's very good, if you like reading fantasy. Pawn of Prophecy was really good.

p.s. yes, I'm interested. Searching through every movie place I can think of at the mo to see if I can find anyone releasing them over here.

m´kay...the name Eddings ring a bell...sort of, but i haven´t read anything of him...
Honestly I think someone in UK must have released Mankell-movies...but they´re available here, even though I haven´t bought them, just hired...

David Eddings is a fantasy author.
He's written several series, The Belgariad, The Malloreon (sort of a follow up to The Belgariad), The Elenium and The Tamuli (again, kinod of a follow on to The Elenium)

I like to read David Sherman and Dan Criag. They are scifi writers mostly but they wrote some pretty good fantasy books.

Like- Ambush and blood contact.

Talking about fantasy books, I'm reading 'The Subtle Knife' by Philip Pullman. It's from a 3 book serie and it's really good. But I'm a very slow reader, so I won't finish it until like.. may. I'm really into fantasy books (like most people on these kind of sites I think). I sometimes read several books and I get confused sometimes between all these different worlds. A little while ago I was busy in Discworld(Terry Pratchet), Laws of Magic(Terry Goodkind), the Bible(Who knows?), Lord of the Rings(Guess who) and His Dark Materials(Philip Pullman). I got really confused there.

When you've done with them, maybe in June you might try Trudi Canavan's "Black Magician" trilogy. I think you'd enjoy them.

Everybody doesn´t have to be talented in writing or photoshop....
Do you hear the lady? She is quite mad, I do believe. Anything below perfect is not good enough for my snobby self, hmph!
1)She is quite a Moderator... And Moderators are quick to anger... Or so I hear. We poor Admins have to do whatever they want us to do. verysad.gif

2)You're a perfectionist? Prove it.
I shall prove that I am a perfectionist, then.

1)The paragraph should be written like so:
Minque is quite a good Moderator, but most Moderators are quick to express their anger. Or so I have heard.

Unfortunately us poor Administrators have to do whatever the Moderators wish us to do verysad.gif

2)These two sentences should be written like so:
You are a perfectionist? Prove it.

You have no power, Sinder biggrin.gif
Discworld
What books have you read so far? And if anyone hasn't read any of Terry Pratchett's books, then I heavily recommend you read them as IMO they are some of the best books you can get your paws on :lickinglips2:
