QUOTE(DoomedOne) Kaushad ZergonipalKaushad stopped to speak with a man in the hall. "Okay Asimov, so when will the goods get here?" "Soon, raiders who carry goods can be tracked so they have to be cunning." "Right, so about two weeks you'd say?" "Yes." "Great," said Kaushad. "Tell Sul-Matuul. I have not seen Darum for quite some time but if you see him be sure to tell him as well. I need to find Sedrane." The two departed and Kaushad again began wandering the hall searching for his son. Sedrane Mirpal Zergonipal, inner shrineSedrane had come to an important conclusion, the survival of his tribe and of all Ashlander teibes were the most importat things just now. He had to focus on those, and that was his aim now as he went into a small chamber in deep iside the inner shrine. In the small chamber there was a large stone, shaped like an altar. He lit three candles on it, placed some gemstones in a special pattern on the surface of the "altar". Then he put some herbs from his pouch which he always wore around his neck, in a small ceramic bowl, and set fire to the herbs. The smoke emanating from the burning herbs was aromatic but cool....he inhaled it and fell on his knees before the altar....stretching his hands in the air....summoning his ancestors.. His mind started to get filled with the spirits of since long dead ashlanders.... He chanted slowly the old tales that his mother taught him..... Blurry faces whirled through his mind........some familiar....some not...... He heard voices of the living and the dead.....there was Sinnamu, his beloved moher..and...he also heard Serene....the Serene that he knew years ago, the young innocent cyrodiil who they adopted ....and became a heartfriend...as well as his teacher in healing..... The message from these voices was but one: "You are the chosen ashkan of the Ahemmusa tribe......lead your people, but whilst you do this, listen to your elders, listen to those who has lived longer than you, respect them, but also stand by their side, fight for youir people..fight for all ashlanders of Vvardenfell......." Sedrane Mirpal sat still listening to the hissing sound of the burning candles, he was totally calm and focused, all he wanted was to meet the other ashkans, Kaushad and Sul-Matuul, to show them the respect they deserved Then he also heard footsteps outside the chamber.........so he rose to his feet and went out into the hall..................

"Not if I can help it" Megil said as he snapped his fingers, the air in front of him suddenly becoming turbulant as a chaotic stream of energy tore in front of him, the cacophonus stream struck the purple beams, at first making them bend and then splinter and finally severed them. the three men attached to the cords slumped to the ground before striking the walls, Megil turned to the Silhouette and snapped his finger again, launching the ripping current of magic at the being.

Wred Halius Hall of Justice
Smart move, said the voice.
Don't criticize me! Wred demanded.
Fine, just relax, close your eyes, relax completely, don't bother keeping yourself standing or holding on to anything at all.
Wred felt himself land nimbly on the floor. He didn't even know how he did it. His actions looked more like an echo. He flung his blade forward in a spinning attack. Despite the fact that he let his grip on his sword relax, it seemed like he only held it tighter, and felt a strange strength now pulsing through him, allowing him to wield his broadsword with one hand.
As the ripple of magic came, Wred leaped into the air. He was never able to jump like that before. He seemed to be using his spinning blade to help manuever himself through the air, flying sideways across the room, above the rippling magic, with his rotating blade coming in to the Silhouette.

And the Buddha replied, "Why not try crawling into the blazing furnace?"

"god damn it,"
Megil began muttering words under his breath, from the water below a crystalline serpent emerged from the water, catching the Silhouette in it's mouth, it slithered through the air, before slipping in through the window, it carried the Silhouette over to were the spell of akavir was cast and then wrapped it body around the magic, it's rippling body constricting against the magic, it's damaging effects restricted only to that of th serpents body. in an angushing cry the snake was consumed, and so was the spell.
The silhouette lay on the floor,
"As I said it is not the most powerful magic of all. the crystal serpent can absorb it's magic with ease."

Megil ducked out fo the magic's way watching it strike the wall on the other side of the chamber. He glanced back to see the Sil. slip out through the damaged hall,
"It's to late Wred, he has escaped for now, though he will retrn again I am sure."
Ordinators were already in the process of cleaning up the fire, and debris.

"Yes I think we all do," he strode over to an undamaged cabinet, and pulled another flask of brandy, he poured several glasses and handed them out to those around him,
"I thank you all for your support, though it was unnecesary,"

Megil also looked out through the gaping hole,
"I do not know what he will do, I just wish that he sees a bigger picture than himself soon. He is so eager to tear down the rest of us, yet he is not aware that by destroying us just as if he dided, chaos would break loose, and be even beyond his control. Besides I have just witnessed what may be the resurrection of an ancient feud, The Moldair and the Sylphs have long hated each other, to find out the other still exists will only enrage the anger. I fear that what will befall this city will be worse than what any house could fathom." as he said this he could hear the screams in the distance, this Moldair sought more violence than was necesary.

"Uh... Right..." Endris sayed while scratching his eyebrow. He had heard of both the Sylphs and Moldairs. But only legends and stories, one of which is that the Sylphs helped defend Vivec against Arcyakt's invading armies.
In fact, if it wasn't for Megil's evacuation plans Endris along with Eno, Rilamus, Alavesa and everyone in the Morag Tong would have been crushed with Old Vivec.
Endris sighed, he feared he would regret what he was about to say but decided that since he was the GrandMaster of the Morag Tong he had the authority to say it. "Megil, you have the support of the Morag Tong. Althoguh i disagree with many of the decisions you have made (outlawing writs) you have done a fine job of keeping this city together. If you ever need someone 'dealt' with or if you need a special task on the battlefield that no knuckle-headed skull basher could accomplish, the Morag Tong will aid you.
"And, for now," he added with a smile, "I won't kill you. Everyone wants you dead, Megil, but Telvanni went far enough to ask the Tong to do it. Keep that in mind, and watch your back," he finished walking towards the door.

Megil looked over at Wred,
"Its selection of magic and appearance would seem to suggest as such. Apart from being a Moldair, he is a very powerful mage, making him a very dangerous threat."
He watched as Endris turned and began leaving,
"I appreciate an ally, and thanks for the warning, though it comes as no surprise."
Megil examined the scene before him,
"Acts like this cannot go unnoticed, the People of Vivec will have to be adressed once again."
