I like the snow because I drive around in it in a Subaru Legacy L with All Wheel Drive.  I love zipping down the back roads and watching the big snow cloud behind me.  If you don't like driving in the snow I HIGHLY recommend Subaru, all their vehicles have AWD.
Is that Tecumseh, MI you're referencing?

Well, I'm increadibly tired right now so it'll be about a day before I realize what MI is, but if you mean Cheif Tecumseh of the Shawnee tribe who united many of the Indian tribes against the English, yes.

Anyways, my city looks like december 25 came early, so I've been sholveling. Bad news is now I have to clear a bunch of ice off my walkway because I found out that the snow I shoveled was what was keeping me from slipping. Oh well, I guess I get to bust out my trusty ice pick I was saving for a Zombie attack.

Well, normally I'd say yes. However, after we had snow falling today, my opinion has been changed. From now on I love snow if I'm sat inside with the heat on, with a smoke and a glass of something, erm, warming. smile.gif

Not when I'm sat at work, knowing I have to walk home in it nono.gif

Aye.....totally agree..at least on the sitting-inside-with-a-smoke-and-a-glass-of-something......

Which by the way is exactly what I´m doing right now....except from the smoke-thingy.....

I will never get used to this Michigan weather, last week the temperature was in the 20's and it snowed a lot. Today? 55 degrees, snows all gone.

Snow is great, it kills the insect and arachnids of our world temporarily, you can ski, snowmobile, eat snow, and find where your dog really pees... biggrin.gif

I used to get snow. I have always liked it. Ever walk through a forest in wintertime? The trees are all white and covered in icicles, no leaves on them.

But now I'm trapped in Florida, with people who wear shorts and sandles year round. kvright.gif (I stick to my traditional boots and pants, even in summer)

Anyways, I really miss those winters where no matter how cold it is, you can just wrap up in blanket and say "to hell with school, I'm cold" biggrin.gif

I love snow and I love cold, yesterday it was frozen over here, take a step and you almost fall. I was wearing a light jacket and jeans. Today it went about to 32 degrees, jeans and a light T-shirt. My friend is boring in snow though, he dislikes snowball fights, he gets that lil' plastic sled out. And my road sucks for sledding. I enjoy snow days though
School districts here never call snow days. It has to be like deadly for it to be a snow day tongue.gif

QUOTE(Momaw @ Nov 6 2005, 05:57 AM)
I like snow.  Up until late winter when the piles on either side of the driveway are about 6 feet tall. Makes throwing the snow up and over rather difficult. But it's very nice till then. Pretty. And quiet! Snow has an amazing ability to muffle noise.  I suppose the only thing I really dislike about snow (other than moving huge quantities of it) is the brightness.  On a sunny day, if you aren't wearing goggles or sunglasses, it can become painfully bright.  sad.gif

sweet a way to wear goggles and not look like an idiot. I don't think I have ever seen anyone in my state wearing goggles when not swiming. You are lucky, you can emulate Naruto and not have peeps laughing. I like snow from indoors, I like to have snowball fights that are very short, after about 20 minutes I tend to get really mean about it and things get outta hand. Like bleeding teeth and noses from ice balls. Things tend to build and build up more and more...the "I will get you for that" mentality

I remember snow from when I lived in England. Now here on the southern coast of Spain it is not an option.
I do not miss it at all, cold, wet miserable cold stuff!

I enjoy snow yes...but only when it's actually..snow, and not just some muddy ****, which it is for most of the time sad.gif over here.

But wait....woohoo it's snowing now. I remember when I was at high school, the teachers had designed an area where we could throw snowballs, so the other whimps who was somewhat afraid from the snow, wasnt pelted with tons of snowballs. Needless to say, when they didnt want to come into that area...we simply forced them in, it was quite fun, dragging a screaming 13year old boy, who had been a little big mouthed, into that are, and litterally drown him with snow and snowballs happy.gif . I when I saw him an hour and a half later, the poor boy, was nearly incapable of moving, due to the clothes he was wearing, was frozen. indifferent.gif

I suppose I was a little evil when I was on high school, but when you're one of the more popular girls around, you feel a little pressure on yourself...but now I'm changed.

Well, turns out we have had a longer winter than expected. Our spring break will consist of snow and ice, with a few breaks of rain. Now thats what I call winter.

I gotta say I love the snow even though in recent years I haven't really recieved much. It snowed about two inches last week and the snow was gone by the second day so I enjoyed it while it lasted. Snow is somewhat of a rarity and when it finally comes I like it...anyways enough of my love of snow. wacko.gif
