Surely the new Combat system. There was nothing more degradating in MW then combat, for me.

I agree... I wanna take on a Ogre with a mace and shield and actually have to stay awake rather than tapping attack and hoping for a block.

my favorite thing about Oblivion will probably be artifact hunting and discovering wonderful places. the artifact that i'm anticipating the most is the skull of corruption.

EDIT: oh, if they have multiple variations on the daedric helm in OB then that will be my favorite pass-time activity tongue.gif

another EDIT: finding the unicorn will be very fun for me

True for me, too...
They mentioned loot will work similar to Diablo II as in the stronger you are, the better the loot... I can't wait to find what fantastic item the Minotaur will be protecting at the heart of a dungeon at level 50+. It'll be worth the wait, because I don't think I'll be rushing the levelling.

Also, I think there is one Daedric Helm for every Daedric General/Commander in the game.
It will be good if it's true, but not sure where I heard it.
Can't wait to make a display of every Suit of Armour in my house. Pity there aren't dummys for armour, but a table will be fine! tongue.gif

EDIT: Found Something about Daedric Generals (About 4th one down), but nothing of the helms. I don't think I imagined it, even if it's just a rumour... I'll keep looking!

The MAGIC SYSTEM...oh yeah, finally we mages can go around without weapons, and still be able to survive ( I could not do that before I was at level 50+,in Morrowind.)

I LOVE everything about Oblivion, one of my favorites is the new landscape, not the ashlands and the swamps in morrowind, but almost all the landscape in oblivion is beautiful, bu the one thing i am waiting for is the way the guilds work and the new weapons, clothing, and armor. I want to be able to love the way I look!!

I like the intriguing, longer quests

I don't know where to start!

I honestly can't really pick what I will like best about oblivion until i actually experience it.

Radient A.I sounds really cool.
Everything sounds really cool.

They have really hit the nail on the head for this game, there is so many ideas that have been put into the game that make you go "Wow, this game is just too good"

I think for me it has got to be the lush scenery and beautiful rolling landscapes. That and stealing from everyone in sight.

for me its going to be just how much more real it will be compared to morrowind. i came to that game very, very late and as i was really getting into it i started to see the preview videos of oblivion. it made me sick. ive actually stopped playing morrowind because it now seems like a poor substitute for oblivion (not that it is, but im just seeing it that way)

it also makes me wonder, what will the next TES game after oblivion be like? given the jump in mind bogglingly amazing things from morrowind to oblivion... i dont know. war? real war? armies of hundereds, no, thousands of troops battling it out in real time with you in the midst? ooohhh BABY! bring on the new decade!

My Top Ten fav features (not nessicarily in order) :

1: The ability to promote people and recruit people for your guild when you are high ranking. That would rock. (especially if you could recruit guards for the mage guild lol)

2: The Script Effect thingy. I wanna make a spell to make an enemy attack all his mates! If I can do that. Or at least make them sleeeepy... so very sleeeeepy... lol.
Anyway.

3: Yielding. Now you can actually fight someone without having to kill them!
The closest thing to that in Morrowind was that wierd Hrolfgar The Strange from Bloodmoon.

4: Traps! I love traps! Traps are one of the main reasons I brought Evil Genius!

5: Horse Riding! W00tage!

6: The way you can knock people off cliffs! Yay for Physics!

7: Magic. 'Nuff said.

8: Now you can actually do a jailbreak! Instead of just basically being teleported outside a prison with some skills gone down.

9: PARALYSE! Who wouldn't love paralyse! Paralyse + Physics + Cliff/Stairs/Step = Hilarity!

10: Last but not least, NO MORE BLOODY CLIFF RACERS! goodjob.gif goodjob.gif goodjob.gif
