QUOTE(Dantrag @ Jan 16 2006, 12:23 AM) A few months ago, I kept having dreams in which I was just chilling with friends, making jokes and such. Pretty soon, I couldn't distinguish between what had really happened with my friends and what I dreamed. I would bring up inside jokes made in my dream, and start laughing, only to get blank stares in return. I felt kinda retarded. Sounds like my dreams. Only, not the joking part. I have dreams where I go through a normal day, and when I get to the end of the day, I wake up, only to go through half a day before waking up again (this time for real). Really, really disorients me. I'm not entirely sure when I'm dreaming and when I'm not anymore. My dreams tend to be normal days, nothing out of the ordinary (so if I bring up an inside joke, everyone gets it, regardless of whether I'm dreaming or not, because all of our inside jokes already exist. Takes me an average of five minutes to realize that I'm awake, and I don't realize that I'm dreaming untill it's over. I have other dreams, too, but that type is the most frequently reoccurring, followed by nightmares, falling, then by drowing, then by some strange combination of all of the above, then any other type of dream have. My fantasies tend to occur more often when I'm daydreaming than when I'm really dreaming. Dreams are an outlet of your mind, a form of self-therapy, so the odder your dreams are, the more messed up your mind is (on the inside, you may still be perfectly rational and normal and still be messed up). I suppose dreaming about having a normal day would mean that there's something else going on in your everyday life, something you aren't noticing that your subconscious mind picks up, and it's trying to give you a hint. Unfortunately, I'm still clueless. DoomedOne- That must suck. At least with my dreams, nothing special happens, so there's nothing to miss when I realize that I'm awake. Hey, maybe you're having prophetic dreams, maybe it's a hint of something to come. (unlikey, but you can hope, right?) I'd work for Starbucks, but I don't think they'd take me. Besides, it's an awfully long bike ride. (not old enough to drive, can't afford gas or a car anyways, which is part of why I need a job) I don't think I'm old enough, at any rate. There are a lot of child labor laws around here, you can't work with machinery or food 'till you're older.

Kindred, please, don't get my hopes up like that, waking up from that dream was enough to crush my hopes. God I wish though... If only.
Yeah I'll admit my mind is pretty messed up. But the flip side is I'm an extremely creative person and I feel compelled to write a lot of the time, like if I don't write I'll explode, so for that I'm glad I'm not ordinary.
What really got me though was how ordinary the dream was while I was having it. Looking back it feels distant but I actually tried to check and scrutinize the world I was living in at one point, and the passage of time felt normal, everything looks normal, as I remember (from thinking this) it was indistinguishable from the real world, only a little more pleasant. Of course, all I have is the memory of thinking that, from the perspective of someone who woke up from it, it was rather fragmented.

Yea, well the only way to classify my dreams are... Epic If I don't dream big, I don't dream at all. Also, I've died at least 12 times in my dreams O_o

QUOTE(Intestinal Chaos @ Jan 18 2006, 12:09 AM) My dreams are always rather interesting. I should post one on here sometimes, I remember it perfectly, and it was the most insane thing I have ever experienced. Personally I always go on epic quests though I often switch in the middle of one quest to another and I always follow a very flawed logic. That's another thing, whatever happens it makes perfect sense to me. I have a very off-base and sideways form of logic that makes the dreams that I can remeber rather odd when I try to think like I did. Direct quote from my sleeping mouth "No, that doesn't seem fun. Infact, it seems kind of dangerous". That's what I said when a small boy with too many arms try to get me to scale (down) a brick building that dropped so far I could only see black. It would seem stranger if you'd have been there, but that's the very LEAST of the oddities I can think of. Man, that's pretty weird, but I had a dream based upon fast acting evolution with increadibly flawed logic. Beat that! As for Star Bucks, I would probably work there if I stopped working at BlockBuster, but I would hate it, most of the people who go there, everyone I work with, Threaten to quit and get caught saying "Welcome to StarBucks, the mall equivalent to Napoleon" every day. The starBucks I go to not only has that Tall means small, Grande means medium and Viete means large crap, but has some of the most dull, boring, anti-social snobs working and drinking there. I don't know if this is what its like everywhere, but its like walking into a library for high class zombies. Everyone avoids each other and even if they are with friends or anyone of that manner, they say and do nothing. Also, I can't find Coffe on the menu.

I don't drink coffee at Starbucks, not often, anyways. I usually grab the largest expresso money can buy from the nearest convenience store right before school, and drink it on the way. Starbucks would be a bit of a walk. (if I got up at four in the morning and started walking, I might be able to make it back to the bus stop in time for the bus) I vividly recall a dream I had where a bunch of jedi, including Yoda (yes, I'm a nerd ) were fighting this evil monster thingy, and it kept on eating them all. I would switch perspectives as the Jedi that I was got eaten, and I could see the inside of the monster, so I could actually see all of the dead jedi. (odd, I know) But most of my dreams center around things that are actually plausible, and still seem plausible after I wake up and think about it.

That's just my experience with the two Star Bucks near me. I'm not making a broad generalization, just thats everybody I meet when I go.

QUOTE(Wurlon @ Jan 18 2006, 10:03 PM) I like too many girls at my school for comfort... Get bigger undies. Speaking of wich, doesn't anybody find it annoying that there are like a thousand different sorts of underware on sale for a woman while a male just has to do with what is currently the going fashion? Not that there is much to complain about currently but I'll dread the day speedo like stuff comes back. This post has been edited by Proweler: Jan 19 2006, 12:15 AM

lol. yeah the variety has increased. it's all a matter of personal preference really. some like the looseness of boxers, some don't. so some go in between with boxer briefs or go full blown briefs. then there's the much sexier men's underwear, but i shant go into that lol.
