I havent played it, I might look into it in the future. Cause sad enough, after I spend a few hundred hours on Oblivion, I will get bored of it.

...You know whats an odd thought, someday we will be using emulators to run Oblivion, sorta like how DOSBox is for DOS games.

I have regular edition, not gold. But the game is pretty fun, although it has a pretty big difficulty curve for the combat

Oh! Gothic 2! I've mentioned it in some other posts and I highly recommend it. It has indeed a high difficulty curve for combat as Wolfie sais but if you give it some time you get the hang of it and makes it one of the best RPG:s I've ever played.
I haven't played the Night of the Raven addon (the one that comes with the Gold edition) so I can't tell much about it but I definately suggest you give Gothic II a try. You'll notice that much of the "cool stuff" with oblivion is there in G2, the forests are much more vivid and realistic than MW, the NPC:s most (almost all) have their work schedules and their personal history to tell, the combat, as mentioned, is much more realistic and you can actually 'feel' the bashing with swords. It has come to my mind that Bethesda must have played G2 and gotten a bunch of ideas from it when developing OB, although that's just a wild speculation tongue.gif.

Oh yeah, one more thing. If you get the game I recommend you using swords (or other melee-weapons) as the melee-combat system is not to be missed. Spells are cool and all but it's nothing compared to the realistic fencing in G2 (this coming from a long-time mage).

I've...erm...sort of played it. My pc is TEH SUXXORZ. It ran alright untill I got to the part where stuff actually happens. Any enemies on the screen, and I get one frame every 20 seconds. (I counted) So it ran like a slideshow, I ended up just running past the enemies everywhere. Then it crashed and I haven't tried it since.

Luckily, you won't be waiting4oblivion for much longer. (will they change the name of the site to waited4oblivion when it comes out?) Still worth a shot, from what I here of the game, and from my brief experience. It's cheap, seemed decent enough, can't really go wrong.

And don't worry about your pc not being able to handle it. My pc just stinks like a used diaper. I swear, I get lag when I'm typing...in Notepad....with my left hand only....while talking on the telephone..... I'm gonna be waiting4oblivion for a while yet.

Yeah it must have been your PC that sucked, litterally, since the game is not very demanding. It's beautiful but in a lowdemanding way smile.gif. Oh and btw, there is a post here that covered a bit about the future of W4O. (Not that it reveals anything wink.gif)

You can say that again, Wolfie. I can't remember the last time I got so frustrated about some game.... goddamn wargs verysad.gif and the framerate at some parts, oh man, that is just tragic ! But then again, my PC is a bucket of bolts rather than a sophisticated multimedial device.

I would say that's one of the great things about Gothic, the enemies you encounter are not leveled creatures, in some places the mobs are MUCH stronger than you and you'll just have to stay away from that place smile.gif. Until you've become stronger and can get back to get some payback, thats satisfaction tongue.gif.
