Free-look mod Options

Hello, this is my first post!
I was wondering if someone would like to make a Free-look mod, where you can press down a key, say ALT, and be able to look around without changing the rotation of your movement. Sort of like the Vanity-mode thingy but in first-person and perhaps with a constraint on amount of rotation possible, preventing you from doing the Exorcist-type head spins.
It's a feature I've always been missing from Morrowind and now Oblivion. It would make strolling around with autowalk alot more fun, being able to look at your surroundings as you would while walking in real life.
