I am unable to open iron gates in Ayleid ruins. I've activated nearby press blocks and still nothing. Anyone else have this problem, or am I just doing something wrong?

If you want an answer you are going to have to specify which ruin you are referring to (unless you mean all of them.) Also, get close to a gate and check your map to make sure there is actually AREA behind it. I've been stumped by many a "door" that turned out to be a wall.
