The koran is very much against sacrificing yourself. More so than the bible by far. See, wherever you go, 99% of the people are good people, friendly, jsut want peace and freedom, and to get a long. Then there is a small group of people, and it's regardless of religion, and it's not that they were born that way, everything just happens to work out that way that they become violent radicals.
Here's the thing, the terrorists that bombed 9/11, that was retribution for something that happened in the 70s. See how it works? No matter what you do, it takes a toll, and the more violent your response, the more radicals you help breed 20 years in the future.
Oh, and about it being a free Iraq, that's relative, seeing as how they have abolosued all laws in Iraw except for the one preventing workers from forming unions, and you have a few soldiers that saw the rebuilding first hand and said it was totally fixed.
Want to know another fact? late 1800s, the entire US is there except alaska and hawaii. The biggest money train, imperialism, is a thing of the past, they already killed enough indians for their sea to shining sea, now they have no more easy acces to money. They went and furthered imperialism into the Phillipines, Hawaii, and basically the Pacific islands. But, calling it imperialism got so much protesting becuase people argued America was supposed to be against Imperialism, they started calling it liberation. Funny thing was, once they liberated the Phillipines from Spain, they actually thought they were being liberated.
It's relative.
Imperialism turned into liberation?! What have you been smokin cause I want some.. is it some of that hippy weed?
Is the Phillipines not a free nation now? Yes I agree that we were once a imperialistic nation but now thats changed. Tell me in WWII when we LIBERATED France and Germany from Nazi rule did we keep it to ourselves?! No we gave it back. Not very imperialistic to me...
Now what if we were to just let the fledgling Iraqi democracy alone and we completely pull out? Terrorists will take control again and ruin everything that the US and her allies, not excluding the NUMEROUS Iraqi people that WANT democracy and chance at freedom, have strove these last few years to a country that was once a giant concentration camp.
Have you ever read Night by Elie Wiesel? (A very chilling account of Nazi WW2 concetration camps) I would imagin that alot of places in Iraq were this bad..
AKI: Oh my god.. how are people that stupid? I feel sorry for his family.. heh, at least they will be at peace
