QUOTE(Andrea @ Apr 10 2012, 04:52 PM) *

Hello everyone!

I'm Andrea, and I'm so happy to be part of the community! I'll be honest, I'm very new to Oblivion (6 months) but that doesn't change the fact that i absoloutly LOVE this game!

I heard about these forums from a dear friend who is also on the forums (mentioning no names as I fear I might embarass them tongue.gif)

Eventually I want to write the story of my Character, Jessika Andrea, but untill I'm ready I'm going to have a BALL reading through your wonderful stories!

Surprisingly, Jessika is my perma-character. About a month into my Oblivion journey I had a dream about this beautiful, blonde nordic woman. She was so enchating and fierce, I learned that she was BORN to be in Oblivion! I haven't played anyoone else since. She's become a part of me, and I hope that shows in our eventual story!

Anyway, enough from me and my overexcited rambling!

My final word. EEEEP! biggrin.gif

Welcome Andrea! I've played Oblivion since 2006, and still remember clearly my first six months of playing the game - it was a defining moment in my lifetime, that is for sure! I hope you enjoy it here, and can't wait to hear more about Jessika Andrea!

Thank you mALX! Jessika has had quite a troubled past, a past which she has told me all about during our travels. She lost her parents at an early age and was forced to raise her younger sister on her own. She is complex and intresting, and she's very dear to me.

I can't wait to get started, but not until i get myself aquainted with all your stories first smile.gif

Welcome Andrea, I second the others and welcome you. The preview to your character as mALX said sounds quite interesting, can't wait to hear more.

Hi I'm Chris or better known by my online alias of 'Santa'.

I'm excited to have found this community earlier today whilst browsing the wide and wonderful internet, I stumbled upon a thread about Skyim roleplaying ideas and I knew then I wanted to be a part of this community.

I started the Elder Scrolls Series after playing Fallout 3, (and loving, immensely) I spotted the game of the year edition of Oblivion in my local Game and knowing it was another Bethesda game and a sandbox RPG at that I decided to get. A couple of hours later when I returned home and booted up my console, I skipped or rather fought for every bitter inch through the starting dungeon. Upon reaching the outside world I was captivated by the sheer beauty. Long story short I became totally immersed in the game and found myself wandering aimlessly around the expansive world, finding villages and cities teeming with life and abandoned buildings which more often than not contained hints as to what happened to it's previous owners.
I do still play Oblivion and when I play it I am once again drawn into it, but I have also fallen in love with Skyrim although my love is not as deep as for Oblivion or Fallout 3. I'm very interested in roleplaying in the game and that along with gleefully exploring every last inch of the wilderness is what takes up the majority of my gaming time.
I hope to at some point chronicle the journeys of one of my characters, but for now I shall be content with reading through and enjoying everything this lovely forum has to offer.

Welcome! Your bio sounds remarkably like mine except I played Oblivion first and bought Fallout 3 because it was made by the same people who made Oblivion, lol. Hope you enjoy Chorrol.com!

My IRL name is James; I've also been known by the pseudonyms Crimea River and PSJJJJelly.

I've been a huge Elder Scrolls fan since...11 November 2011. xD. I had Oblivion a while back and played it but didn't really get into it; Skyrim is what got me into the series and ever since, I have been immersed in it. Going back, and playing Morrowind, Oblivion, some of Battlespire, and a bit of Daggerfall are probably the reasons I haven't gotten all that far in Skyrim (besides the Faction Quests, and Main Quest) and because my gaming rig is currently at home, leaving me with my laptop which will play Skyrim but...extremely slowly (but seriously, where have those games been all my life?!?!?!).

I love the Elder Scrolls world, and the lore, as well as the whole metaphysics element (things such as CHIM and the Dreamsleeve. That sort of thing! My favourite obscure text is et'Ada, Eight Aedra, Eat the Dreamer).

Anyway, tons of rambling there...

About me! I'm an Asian Studies/Communication major, currently studying at UNCG. I will be going to Japan to study abroad for a year in Fall of 2013. I'm 24 years old (not a graduate student, though...I transferred from community college). I'm addicted to the Internet, and am on it a LOT. (And I recently discovered how to use Tumblr. Oh gods). I've been roleplaying for about 10-11 years by forum. Currently, I roleplay Animorphs, Dragon Age, Elder Scrolls, and some Star Trek. I have a ton of interests, but tend to be fixated on things. I love to draw, though I don't think I'm good at it. *flops* Anyway, this intro has gotten long enough, lol. happy.gif

And now as I usually do when joining a new forum... *saunters off to find the Rules thread*

Hello all smile.gif

My name is Heather V ( as in the letter, not the number 5 wink.gif ).

I've been an avid member of the bethsoft forums for a while under a different name, but I was advised to come here as I wanted to start a fanfic and was told it was a better, or rather more cosy community here, so I thought I'd check it out smile.gif

So hello!

Welcome to the forums, Heather V! (Do you have a Guy Fawkes mask? wink.gif )

Looking forward to reading this piece and you have heard correctly; we generally seem to be a more cosy community than Bethsoft. Well, except for this one guy called Colonel Mustard. Watch out for him, he's a complete...

Waitasec...

Anyway, pleased to see a new face here and I hope you have a good time here! biggrin.gif
