Fantality Mods, a very new modding team started by our lord, Dirox, is in need of more people. Right now, we only have a Master Scripter, Dirox & Maniac and myself are the creative department! Fantality started off with a small mod that we called, "Sleep" which requires a player to sleep if they are to continue after a certain amount of hours. This was a simple yet crucial mod for us since we are trying to merge the fantasy of Oblivion, and the real world in which we live in. We continue writing down ideas that come to us, but some idea require more man power! This is a call for modelers and scripters! If you need a place to call home, Fantality welcomes you with open arms! Please PM me or Dirox if you wish to join or, email me at the following address: mastersaji@leviathanlvt.com. If you have any questions, leave a reply and I (as well as Dirox or Maniac) will get back to you...(it'll most likely be me, since I've no life ) Cheers and hope to be talking to you soon!

QUOTE(MasterSaji @ Apr 12 2006, 08:42 PM) Fantality started off with a small mod that we called, "Sleep" which requires a player to sleep if they are to continue after a certain amount of hours. This was a simple yet crucial mod for us since we are trying to merge the fantasy of Oblivion, and the real world in which we live in. That sounds like it's gonna be hard, because you would need to think of effects that would happen to you after you haven't slept for awhile. Here are some of my ideas for what could happen to you. 1. your agility drops ten pts for every hour (Ex. your guy has to sleep after ten hours of being awake, but you choose to stay up for 11 hours to complete a quest, so your agility drops ten points). This is supposed to simulate drowsiness. 2. Your fatigue doesn't regenerate once your x ammount of hours of staying awake are up. 3. after two hours of staying up (past your limit) have passed, your intelligence drops 5 points. (all of these negative effects from not going to sleep go away once you do go asleep) those are all that I can think of. I hope that they help. EDIT: I know that you made this thread so that you could find modders who are interested in this, but I just like to give ideas, so please forgive me! In regards to the sleep mod, you slowly get tired and once you reach a certain point you begin to feel the effects, and as time goes by the defects increase, your vision becomes blured in later hours ect. As for the fatigue, thats a good idea, but we've desided to use fatigue for something else.. exhaution or, temporary tiredness. hiting higher levels of exhaustion also increase tiredness as a long term. We havent begun this. NeedSleep however is complete but we feel that we should release it in conjunction with exhaustion, hunger and a few other suprises. You'll be able to download these from our site which is currently under construction but well on its way. Check back soon for the link =) Responding to Konradude, Everything we can do to improve the game. Eventualy we want to make each class truly spectial with unique skills. Just started the necromancer =D Just one of the many exciting scripted necro spells is a power which for the time being we call "Devils Hand". A giant skeletal hand that emerges from the ground and holds your oponent trapt in its fingers for a time, rendering them helpless, and we hope to have it do other awesome attacks (Based on a random chance) like making a fist and smashing the oponent and having the bones shatter everywhere! lol Lots of work to be done on that one. heres a pic! And as Master Saji said, give us a shout if you wana join the family =D Its hard work but we have a lot of fun sometimes This post has been edited by Dirox: Apr 16 2006, 02:53 PM

Aside from the obvious ability drain when fatigued, it may be interesting to see if the danger for delusional hallucinations when extremely fatigued can be incorporated. First thing I'd think of would be risking a 'phantom', conjured up by the fatigued mind. Combat in this state would be interesting, as the character will be weakened already.
Another interesting option may be adding a 'fatigue' quest or two; This could be a new conversation topic available only when extremely fatigued, possibly allowing the character to resolve some inner conflict, or follow some inner urges.
The trick would not be the scripting here, as that'd be fairly simple, but to keep the correct 'feel'. How can you keep things 'nightmarish' enough to allow emersion in the fatigued delusional mind?
Cuddos.

I would love to help you guys. I wasn't bad at modding in Morrowind (dungeons and basic scripting/quests) although I might have to relearn some of those skills for Oblivion. Only problem is that I might be busy with schoolwork at times and I couldn't make models/textures if it was my only way of ever playing Oblivion again Still, if you need voice acting, basic scripting, dungeon creation, in-game book stories or even some help with maths for a part of a mod then drop me a line.
