Does anyone know how to remove an item from the calling actors inventory without (heres the kicker) specifying a referance?

I find it frustrating how limited the scrpting language is for the cs.

Does RemoveMe meet your requirements? It needs to be in an object script, so there's the implicit This that the script is operating on, but it'll remove it from whatever container it's in.

If I may ask, why do you need to avoid references?

I agree about the scripting language. I'm not sure why Bethesda didn't use any of the numerous fully-featured embeddable scripting languages that can be (relatively) easily incorporated into other applications, like python or lua.

Thanks for your reply.

The reason i need a get referance function is for things such as, geting a spell target so that a giant hand can come up in the right spot and grab them of course.......... lol

http://chorrol.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2454

But the reason i need it for the an inventory is this

I dont know if youve played Diablo, but there is a necromancer skill called bone armor, and what i want it to do is when you cast the spell (scripted effect of course) it Removes a bone, Places a Different Bone (remake, only difference is the ID) and that bone spins around you, it has to be a different bone, or any bone around you will spin around..

also DropMe works but you cannot specify a Number so all bones would drop (I am Asuming!!!!!!!!!!)

Anyways thx for the input
