Ive jumped around through a bunch of MMOs. Lately I just havn't been up to "grinding".

After a lengthy stay in the single player world, I gave EVE a try. The graphics are amazing, but the tutorial seemed endless and I was heartbroken to find the game did not have a "cockpit view" as I was hoping it would.

However, in the end I was glad to have followed the tutorial. The game's universe is MASSIVE, and there is a ton for people to do on both sides of the law. As a fellow pilot quoted : "One day I'm helping newbs. The next I'm robbing them."

Of course there is a lot more to it than simply blowing each other up. People even have their own stations floating about. I think its this depth that is keeping me playing... for the time being.

I don't know how long thats going to last... lately I just havn't held much interest in the MMO thing.

I don't want to read this topic because when it comes to most MMOs I don't care.

But I would change that attitude, if what I am hearing is true.

A Dune MMORPG game possibly in the works? Not sure what the story is with development, if its even started but... I know there is talk on it.

That is something that would work to get me to give an MMORPG a solid chance.

hahaha..... just read through everyone's posts..... the majority hat alot to say about guild wars and runescape.....

Runescape(not runescape3D).... something that i cant say is really bad.... but isnt all that great.....

I started playing runescape durring the sixth grade.... the time i was developing my maturity and social skills..... It helped me gain friends... and akwardly enough, hepled me find my true taste(s) in music.... Runescape(nor runescape3D), for me, is something that i could casualy play with my good friends from my schools in LA and sanfransisco...
It brings me alot of good times and memories when i think about runescape classic... so i feel somewhat offeneded personaly when i hear people bag on the game for sucking so bad, i mean, yes it suck... in terms of graphics and stuff.... but think about all the fun and obscure things you could've and most likely have done in the game

Guild wars... another game that i really like...(minus the first expansion) really is all in one's taste in the Heavily Player Versus Player MMORPG. I know its somewhat lame to only(look away... semi spoiler) Be able to get to level 20, but you got to see past that.
I read somewhere...(think it was guildwars.com) that the reason for the game only going up to level 20 is to make it easy for everyone to be on the same level.... when you and your guild choose to play PvP..... And not only pvp... but once your level 20, you can revisit some of the older areas of the game.... and take a view at some of the scenery you might have missed durring during your lower levels in the instanced area. I Think guildwars(to me) is like..... entertainment wrestling, minus the sweaty men, hot dogs and popcorn on the floor , and with swords, dwarves, monks and magical looking citys and stuff....

Just another really long post,

Dagoth Carlos......
