Hiya. Is anyone else experiencing this exasperating problem? During the entire process of creating my new character's face with the face generating tool, I have really bad rubber mouse. It makes it almost impossible to choose the different parts of the facial feature categories and then even moving the sliders to adjust the facial features is excruciating and very difficult to pin-point the cursor on the slider or to double-clik in the bar to move the slider ... I've tried it both ways and either is very difficult.
All this makes it take nearly a half an hour just to build one face for one character. I much prefer making NPCs in TESCS. I wish there was some way to import the NPC faces into the player face/gen tool and then just select it.
Well, I'll be getting a new video card soon and hopefully then this won't happen any more. I was just wondering if this problem is plagueing anyone else?
It used to happen to me with my 6600GT but now its gone I'm sure there was a .ini tweak somwhere that could reduce mouse lag but I cant find it Try lowering the textures one level, even if its only for Char creation,
Also you could try creating your char at the end of the dungeon just before you go outside, because that beginning cell is very taxing on your graphics card,
I get the same problem, I was looking forward the character generation until I found it impossible to do anything with all the mouse lag that came, particuarly when changing the tone.
Oh yeah, and because all faces look the same in profile view, and there are only three eyes to choose from, those were a few other factors that made me dislike character generation.

A man once asked the Buddha, "How does one escape the heat of the summer sun?"
And the Buddha replied, "Why not try crawling into the blazing furnace?"
Doom, I downloaded the All Hair and Eyes mod from the official site so that at least I can choose from among all the available race choices when creating a char - you can give an Orc Khajiit hair or a Dark Elf Argonian eyes if you want to.
