You can invest in a store, and the store owner will have an extra 500 gold. So, for example if you invested in a store with 1200 gold, then the max they'd pay for an object is 1200, right? But with an investment, the max they'd pay is 1700. So if you're selling expensive items, you can get 500 more every time.

also, I have a questin on that... lets say you invest in the store, AND you are Master Mercantile (ALL stores have +500 gold) if you then invest, will they have +1000 gold?? I suppose I could test it tonight, but maybe someone knows the answer, and it can be posted on here for everyone....
