Oblivion is full of people or creatures who just really... hate themselves. I learned that first hand when I killed this bodyguards master in one of the Dark Brotherhood quests. For a couple of days he all grumpy and sad but after a week or so something funny happens. I was riding on my horse one day and I look up to see this cliff and on the edge is the bodyguard, prepared to jump. I just soot dhtere staring and when he fell I looted his body.
