Also, darth vader was the chosen one. balance to the force does not mean destruction of the dark-side, it means balance. In the end of his life, the force was balanced. Only one guy, not encessarily good nor evil, with little knowledge of the philosophy of the force, knew how to wield it, and started a new school. Everything about the force and study of it completely restarted, for that galaxy anyway.
By the end of Episode 3 it was blanaced.

Two Light siders (Yoda and Obi-wan)

Two Dark siders (Dark Vader and Darth Sidious)

Balance.

I liked this movie, it was awesome, definately makes up for the other two prequels.

I liked the irony of how Anakin's turning to the darkside to try and save Padme from dieing in childbirth caused her to die in childbirth.

Though, really, do not make Vader go "NOOOOOOO!" in a Vader-suit.

It just is...wrong....
thats what I think.

I kind-of liked Obi's final spaech to Anikin for some reason, it was almost pathetic in a way. i don't know.
You were the chosen one!You were suppose to destroy the sith, not join them! *cue walk off and sobbing*
I loved it, even though I knew what would happen, since I saw 4, 5, and 6. I felt really sad when Anakin killed the younglins...

I can't wait until the entire series comes out in one huge DVD pack.

lol my mom will kill my dad when that happens because he already bought the origianal 4,5, and 6 video box set; the revised 4,5, and 6 video box set; and the 4,5, and 6 dvd box set. so when the 1-6 DVD box set comes out I will be able to laugh at my dad getting yelled at. smile.gif

The 4-6 version with hayden christiansen as the ghost of anakin is a joke though.

Was he supposed to act that horrible in the movie? He really sounded whiny all the time.

BTW I think they should of let the little kid from the first movie grow up and become Anikan... tongue.gif

It was basically his acting, as well as almost no plot and no scene progression that ruined the first movie. Any scene he was in was basically bad. Escapecially that crap with him "stumbling" into the space ship and "accidentally" completely ending the battle of naboo. God that movie pissed me off.

I saw the movie yesterday and I must say I have very mixed feelings about it. Effects were (as expected) awesome but the story, dialogues and the acting at times were really disappointing (which was somehow expected, too). The german version somehow suffered from the rather average voice-actor of Anakin (his voice is annoying me Since Episode II), I wish they could have someone better.
In the end it seemed like they were really in a hurry to explain the events happening in episode 4 - 6, Lucas could have invested a little more time there.

and yes...

I agree.... it looked, well, a little silly I have to admit.... That simply didn't fit to the Darth Vader we see in episode 4-6...

Conclusion: Not a bad movie, definitely better than Episode II but it had, in my opinion, a lot of flaws.
