Haldin, dissapearing for the moment.

Haldin, had grown tired of waiting for this man to finish. After hours waiting outside of Tel Fyr, he realized it was time for him to go, possibly visit Cyrodiil, yes he would like that.

He muttered a little incantation, and was suddenly ripped into tiny particles, moving like lightning across the void, and only to stand before the imperial palace. He could see the entrance, guarded by five men in legion armour.

"HALT stranger" one of them said, extending his hand. "What is thy bidding here"?

"My name is Haldin Delvanni, I have come report to "uncle Cassius" he said with a smirk on his lips, as the guards let him pass.

OOC:I made him do at least something, as DarkHunter seems to have abandoned us, and yes, I gave you all a little thing to wonder on there...only the gods (and me of course) can know whats possibly going on

Brianna in labor

The pain was ripping her apart, at least it felt that way. She never experienced something remotely like this.....She wanted to press downwards to get rid of the big "thing" that wanted to depart from her body, but a sharp voice was heard throught the red mists of ultimate pain:

"Brianna! Do NOT press downwards......not yet! Breathe! Deeply..just breathe....hold my hands...BRIANNA! do you read me???"

It was Serene......her voice was deep and very clear and demanding...she had to obey.....Then she noticed Telina.......engulfed in steam....did she boil some water? Nice.....that was something she knew...there has to be boiling water.....water......

Brianna felt her consciousness fade away, she wondered if Rahvin was still around, on one hand she wanted him to be there...on the other hand.....giving birth really wasn´t meant for men to watch.....they are too weak for that, but still it would have been very comforting if he´d been there

"Telina?.....Please hold my hand" Brianna whispered


Serene, acting as midwife

"Brianna.....easy now....don´t push! Breathe!!!!!"

She could see the baby´s head .....but there was not enough room for it to break through, she maybe would have to make a cut.....now Brianna wouldn´t feel the pain of a cut, her vagina was almost senseless by now...

"Telina, please sterilize a dagger for me, I´ll have to make an incision"

Then she realised it wouldn´t be enough with one small incision.....this baby was far to big, it would never be able to get out....

Serene had to consider a C-section!

Telina, doing what she can to help.

Telina grabbed Bree's hand...dont worry, I wont let you go, just relax, listen to your mother she knows what she is doing, she told her soothingly.

"Here" Telina said, conjuring a sterilized knife out of air, handing it to Serene. She put her other hand on Bree's forehead, looking deeply into her eyes, hoping that they would have the normal calming effect that they had on other persons.

Haldin, en-route to Bruma.

Haldin thought over what Cassius had told him, he would get to see his mother for the first time in his life, he was just so exited...but had also gotten a warning not to get on her bad side. He chuckled to himself, knowing all to well, what hs mother had done to impudent bastards who only thought with the thing that was dangeling between their legs.


OOC:not knowing what Bree is going trough, I do what I feel I would do with someone who is in labour...doing my best to comfort them.

Telina looked at Serene for amoment, "sure" she muttered, before closing her eyes, concentrating, and then she put her hand at Briannas palm again, before muttering "somnus".

Brianna, immediately fell asleep, calm, lost in the world of dreams.

Serene

"Very good Telina, now she´s nicely asleep" Serene pinched her daughter to make sure she was unconscious. Then she washed Brianna´s belly with alcohol, in fact with some cyrodiilic brandy in order to desinfect the operation-area.

"I´m going to place the incision right here, Telina, so if you please step nearer you could maybe assist me? I´d like you to stop the bleeding while I´m cutting...."

Serene then placed the necessary instruments to be used on a clean towel on the bedside table:

The sterile dagger, some clean towels, a bottle of cyrodiilic brandy. She then searched her pouch for a needle and some thread she usually kept there. She found the gear alright, thren soaked them in brandy for sterilization.

"Now my friend, " she addressed Telina, "I´d like you to please just follow my orders and we´ll manage this alright.......by Azura her belly is enormous!..I wonder....."

Serene smiled encouragingly at Telina, grabbed the dagger and made the long cut cross over Brianna´s belly, about 15 cm below her bellybutton.

A thin red line showed where the cut was placed.

"Now Telina.....towel please!"

Another cut and the uterus was visible....Serene took a deep breath and cut it open. While Telina was busy wiping the blood, Serene helped a darkskinned little baby-girl into the world, her scream was strong and healthy. Serene checked the child, rinsed her mouth and nostrils and wrapped her in a towel.

Looking down in the open uterus she gasped for breath...

"Telina! There´s more than one baby!!!! It seems to be......another one in here!" Serene then gently lifted another baby-girl out.....checked her thoroughly, this one was more calm and her scream wasn´t that loud, but she also had this healthy dark skin-color.....So she too was wrapped in a towel.

Then it was time to check out the placenta and the umbilical cords......


"TELINA......there´s another one!!!!!"


Brianna´s third baby was helped into this world about 10 min after his sisters......this one was a boy and he did not seem to be ok.....he was more blueish than the girls and he definitely didn´t breathe!

"Help me Telina.....this one is almost dead!"

Then they heard Brianna´s weak voice: "Mother? what is happening?"




OOC: ok a challenge for the telvanni-queen.....will she be able to save Brianna´s newborn son? And will Brianna survive this?

Fervus Noctus, interfering.

Fervus barged into the room.
,,What do I hear here? Babies crying. Look, I told everyone to get out. It's not safe here.....Oh, it's you."
The Lich instantly calmed down.
,,Anyway I can help? I do know several methods to prevent death. The lying underneath the ground in a grave kind of death."




(I figured it was getting crowded and looking after four helpless people was a bit too much. So here are the reinforcements. )

Telina, saving babys life.

Telina, ahd done what Serene had told her to do, and was about to try and save the boy, when Fervus barged in, so much the better actually.

"Yes fervus, there is something you can do, help Serene patch up Brianna, and I'll do my best for this baby.

Telina took the boy, wrapped him in a warm blanket, and put him down on the floor. Then she sat herself down, holding his hands. She closed her eyes, entering the mind of the child, going away from what can be considered reality.

She looked around herself, it was all white, a shimmering light, which seemed to disrupt any vision was shining not too far away. She saw the boy flot towards it, almost like he was being dragged by some mysterious force. Somehow Telina knew what was going on, she had to get to the child.

With stupendous effort, she managed to get up. She ran forwards, feeling her life ebb more away the closeer she got to the light. She finally reached the boy, grabbed him, and held him close to her chest, soothing him. Putting her hand on his chest, she whispered the ancient chant of awakening.

"iero din omani danh whod galadh, laesto miriinen sancsuni", she repeated the phrase for a long time, before she suddenly awoke in the room again, the boy was now sreaming, his pulse and breathing had become steady.

She picked him up, and walked towards Brianna. "Here, this is your son, take care of him". A feint tear dripped out from her eye, before she abruptly turned away, and walked out, away from the inn, and into the dark stormy night of Cyrodiil.

OOC:The little trick Telina pulled off, is known as walk between worlds...it allows a person to enter the nothingness, to bring one back from the dead, but it's dangerous, you can die if you stay too long. But this took a little time, so while Serene and Fervus is patching up Brianna, Telina is getting the boy back, and the time passed since Telina went to get him, was about one hour....

And Telina have now left us for a little while, but dont worry she will soon be back, she just needs to do something...but of course the other characters dont know that.

Brianna, totally worn out and extremely surprised

"How could this happen?, why three babies? I had no idea....." Briannas voice was faint and she was barely awake, giving birth of three children almost killed her, she didn´t know how to handle this at all.

Brianna closed her eyes.....there was a tunnel, and at the end there was a shining light, it looked so nice and welcoming, she wanted to go there, desperately. Brianna started walking....


Serene

"She won´t make it.......we´ll loose her" Serene felt tears running down her face......she couldn´t stop the bleeding. The incision was neatly stitched together but there were internal damages she couldn´t remedy.

She looked at the two baby-girls sleeping in their cocoons ........

At least they were alive, the boy was in Telina´s custody...




OOC: What do you think? Shall Bree die? Or will she sink down in a coma and they´ll dump her at some Temple or something......

I mean shoudn´t the birth be the link to the next RP?

Fervus, doing what he can.

Fervus no longer hesitated. He removed one of his gloves, revealing the bony hand underneath. He cast a quick glance at Serene to see how she would respond but then decided not to bother. He put his hand at the heart and began to chant in Daedric. Words flowed like a river and the woman stopped breathing.
After a few moments, the Lich looked up again.

,,I've frozen her body in time. Till the time comes for us to heal her, she will remain as she is, little more than a corpse. I'm sorry, I wished I could do more." He calmly explained, his voice deep and seemingly coming from Solstheim. He then laughed as he looked at his bare hand.
,,Look at me! I am a mockery of everything I do! A healer, who isn't alive himself!"

,,As for the babies, will they suffer the same fate as their mother? Will they be hunted?" He muttered to himself.
,,Our priorities now are to protect the children. Do you know a place where we can hide them?"

Pil glanced about outside, paying close attention to a tree, which seemed to be shaking. There was quite possibly a playful animal -

He turned his head, and froze at the sound of a loud shriek. A moment later, he relaxed - from what he'd seen of this lot a lot of strange things went on among them.

(OOC: Chillin' out until somethin' happens that I can throw him in.)

Telina, finally waking up.

Telina woke up, the boy crying in her arms. She stood up, soothing him carefully. She looked at Brianna, who was looking...well, lost, she looked dead, only she was alive, Telina knew what had happened. There was no other option the only thing that could cure her now, was rest...and time.

Looking sad at Serene, Telina handed the boy to her. "I'm sorry my friend, I failed her, I failed you all...let me take her...I know just the place where she can heal...and after that I must leave...into...exile"!

She looked at Serene, a tear forming in her eye, hoping that Serene wouldn't ask where she would go.

OOC:yes, ask her where she will go.

Haldin

Haldin reached the inn, where he was supposed to go, he could see a fight rage on the top of the roof...so his damned curiosity (compliments from his mother) took hold of him, and he walked up.

OOC:Ok Cloudy, I give you the honor of meeting Haldin first, I imagine that both Haldin and Flint could have mutual interest with being friends

Hecate (sorry, but I'll take control of him for now.)

Hecate felt the roof underneath him give way. He jumped away before the roof collapsed. A fireball singed the edge of his cloak and he narrowly avoided the sharp katana that followed.
,,You again?" He exclaimed, his voice both surprised and annoyed. He realized he couldn't remain here much longer. His target's bodyguards were amazingly stubborn.
He then noticed yet another newcomer.

,,Its that Dunmer again!" he first thought but instantly changed his opinion. For one thing, this Dunmer was male and not female. Yet they were so much alike as if they were ,,Family." That gave him an idea.
,,You Dark Brotherhood scum! You will never get the Dunmer, or her pregnant friend, or the children! To do that, you will have to pass me first!" He shouted. By posing the thief off as the assassin, he might get the distraction he needed to withdraw.

Flint Ironwood, the roof (or what's left of it.)

,,What?" Flint muttered. He couldn't believe that the assassin would try to make him seem the bad guy. And Dark Brotherhood? He didn't look like any of those. Flint then remembered he did look like one. He was openly wearing a traditional Dark Brotherhood cloak.
,,Oh, this is so annoying." He muttered to himself as he was forced to divide his attention between Hecate and the newcomer, who now probably had the wrong idea about who was the bad guy and who was the good guy.

Haldin, making up his mind

Haldin, was almost at the top of the roof, when he lost his footing, all he was hanging onto was a slippery beam. With stupendous efforts, he managed to jump up, grabbing hold of the edge of the roof, he then drew a short dagger, stabbing it into the roof, using it to get a grip so he could get up.

He had heard the voice of the one not dressed in assassins clothes...still, he had learned over the years to evaluate a person...and by the tone of voice this man talked...Haldin was willing to put all his nuts in one basket and side with the man in assassins clothing.

"Stop lying, or face the wrath of Dorn" Haldin said, taking a firm grip on his battlehammer Dorn. It's enchantement promised swift death and destructionto anyone unfortunate enough to have it smashed down on their head.

OOC:Let's give Hectate a wound he will never forget...like having a knee/leg crushed or something :evilllol:

,,My believe in good old luck has been restored. That hammer looks like one thing I don't want to get in front of. Thanks for the help. We'll talk about the introductions later. You wouldn't happen to know a young woman who listens to the name Telina, would you?" Flint spoke, also noticing the similarity with his friend. He then redirected all of his attention at the assassin.
,,Now, I kinda lost count of how many times I told you, but I'm going to say it again. Get out. You're getting on my nerves. If you are so serious about all this, come back later. Trying to kill a woman right when she's having a baby born. Don't you have any dignity?"

Hecate, countering.

Hecate saw how his plan had gone wrong. He would have to go, but not without getting the last word.
,,Dignity? If I remember correctly, you were the one who attacked and disfigured his father with the very katana you're holding right now. I heard that the poor man put a large price on your head. Maybe I should collect it, my current mission has gotten quite expensive, you know." He shot back.

The assassin bend through his knees a little as he prepared to leap. He knew from experience that Flint wasn't a fighter. The Dunmer's hammer was a slow weapon. That meant that his speed would help him against the Dunmer while his skill would help him avoid the Breton.

"Dont mention it" he said to Flint. "Names Haldin by the way, Haldin Delvanni,and I believe that Telina is my mother, from what I can remember"...

Haldin, knew that the assassin thought his hammer was a slow weapon, but it's ability to chrush, and purify it's enemies was not the sole enchantment of the weapon...it gave the wielder energy, making him quick on foot, and fast on the hand...the hammer could be wielded like a sword.

Haldin, surprised the assassin, when he spun the hammer in quick arts around him, before tossing it in the air, grabbing it again with a single hand..."what, not everything as it seems coward" Haldin taunted.

we take him together, just follow my lead, Haldin whispered to Flint, before running forward, bellowing a warcry. "FOR INDEPENDENCE"!!!!!!! he yelled, before reaching Hectate, sending a quick swing towards Hectates head.

OOC: the enchantement is not constant effect, it lasts only for two minutes, and when fully charged the hammer have five uses before needed to re-fill.

Let's fight a bit first.

Hecate, fighting.

Hecate found himself surprised by the Dunmer's speed. Still, his flashy show ruined the surprise.
,,Perhaps not. You could have taken me by surprise, fool."

When the hammer came down, Hecate quickly rolled out of the way, throwing a pair of daggers at flint while he did so. He rose up to his feet, a dagger in each hand again. He then dropped down the roof and rolled upon landing. Now on the streets, he tried his trick again.
,,Guards! There are murderers on the roof!"

Flint Ironwood, following Haldin.

All the recent fighting had made Flint think of new tricks. He used his excellent Telekinesis skills to slow down the daggers and grabbed them. He then vaulted over the edge of the roof and threw them back at their owner.
,,Independence? Well, as long as the battlecry works for you, I guess."

Hecate dodged one of his daggers while the other scraped against his thigh.
,,Curses. At least I threw one of the few blades that weren't poisoned." He noted to himself.

The nearest guard weeled around as he drew his sword. He had purposefully ignored the whole mess on the roof. Now that the fight had switched to the streets, he did pay attention.
,,Drop you weapons!" He shouted to both sides.

Haldin, tricking the guard.

Haldin jumped off the roof, landing in front of five guards, all whom were pointing blades at him. He silently thanked Azura for him making a wisit to Caius Cosades, before meeting up here.

"Stay your hands troops, I am Haldin Delvanni, a Knight Protector in the legion, leading the investigation of a attempted assassination of the Emperor". He smiled at his own lie. "This man", haldin pointed at Hectate, "killed three fellow legioneers, and also tried to assassinate the Divine Emperor, take him away".

there was no doubt among the guards that this Dark Elf was a legion Knight, he wore a custom version of legion armor, mostly worn by higher ranking knights, and he sounded bossy enough, so they turned their attention towards Hectate instead, "you will be begging me for death you swine" one of the guards yelled, as he hauled himself towards hectate, sword at the ready, the other guards soon followed.

"You can come down now" Haldin yelled to Flint. I only lied, I'm no legion member, but I am a member of the Blades, but I'm a priest as profession though, he whispered to Flint, as they walked towards the entrance of the inn.

OOC:he wears the armour you get from the blades, along with ghis hammer, and an akaviri katana.

Hecate smiled coldly.
,,Very well, I will come along to prison. After all, I am outnumbered." He said calmly.
Escaping and retaking his gear before the execution would be no problem at all. Brianna and her friends wouldn't expect him.



Flint Ironwood, walking with Haldin.

,,So you're Telina's so....Wait a minute, she is too young for that!" He shouted. After a moment of thought he blamed it on her Dunmer nature.
,,But that's none of my bussiness. Nice speech back there by the way. I am Flint Ironwood. Yes, I admit that I kinda messed up my own dad but he was terrorizing the whole town so I don't feel too bad about it. Other than that, I only kill in self-defence or in the defence of others. I am a thief, currently working for Brianna. No big deal really, I am responsible for some of her trouble so this is just some repayment. But enough about me, it's time you meet the gang. You'll love them. We're the weirdest bunch of people in Tamriel!"

Serene, sad and almost crying

Serene took her grandson in her arms, looking sadly at Telina, tears running down her face:

"You did what you could my friend, ther was nothing else you could have done. Please take her to a safe place, I think I´m more suited to take care of my grandchildren......besides I´m so tired..I just can´t cope with it anymore....."

Then she suddenly realised what Telina just said.....exile???

"Oh please Telina....don´t leave for good.....I do need a friend in these hard and sad times...Where are you going? Oh my dear friend please tell me! "

Then she came to think of Rahvin.....he would .....probably be sad, but then again, he had proven himself to be a strong and righteous young man....maybe...?? Ah but later he could be ideal to raise the little boy who currently rested in her arms.

Then the most peculiar thing happened......this was magic, probably the divines showed mercy...because she felt her breasts fill up with milk.......

Serene loosened her shirt and the little boy immediately found what babies had been finding for thousands of years...
