If your stressed just do what i do, I go to the gym and punch the hell out of the punching bag, and if not just punch something. That usually helps me.

Doomie, welcome back home! I so enjoyed the updates from Peru at MySpace ... thanx. Did you manage to smuggle alot of tea home in your shaving cream bottle? I'd imagine that smuggling anything on airlines these days would be impossible...but you are rather clever about these types of things. So, I wouldn't put it past you ... not at all. tongue.gif

drug dogs are trained to sniff out coca, the best talent a pirate can have is knowing when he's working with something above his pay-grade, that's a pirate that lives to fight another day. Coca leaves are for tea, anyway, a really healthy, tastey, non-addictive tea, I don't see the purpose in going to jail for tea.

If you want a tip though in Mexico the cocaine cartels are taking over, and the process of extracting the cocaine from the leaf is easy to do, and once extracted without the same chemicle addatives they add to cigerettes, it gives the same high with 90% less of the physical craving. Look at a map of Mexico's ecological design and you can easily pick out likely spots for coca farms, and be a coca bandit, and then cross the border and if you get stopped by border patrol just say you're a minute man and you were chasing an illegal back to the other side. Yes, much easier than trying to get anything through the airplanes and you don't have to support the drug cartels in the process.

It is a lovely day here- one of those late summer days that is a foreshadowing of fall. Low humidity, temperature in the 70's or 80's (21-26 degrees C for the European readers). Thursdays are my usual day off, so I have been able to enjoy it. Sent a few Ebay items on their way this morning (one painting and two computer games); sat on the porch with the original Trey and a good book; now I am charging the riding mower battery for a quick run at the grass. It's odd to be at home on a "work day," even now- as I was driving home, I got the strangest feeling of nostalgia- like I was 17 and skipping school. This time of year hits me that way- 30 years and more just disappear and I almost feel as if I can step back into a previous life....

I wasn't offended or anything, just commenting about how there have been a lot of topics about drugs around here recently.

Here I am again...*sticks head shyly into coffee shack, trying to skul off to a table in a dark distant corner* biggrin.gif

First off all, I must congratulate our good'ol starge with his retierment...a well deserved one that is...(welcom ol'champ). I hope you can enjoy a good time with us 'norma' folks now, not having to be bossy tongue.gif, or we may have to turn to drastic measures evillol.gif

Secondly, I managed to get finished with the building project that I was assigned to for two months ago. This was the first assignement that I had the control over, and I feel very proud that I and my team managed to get finished before the deadline (humbly gives credit to the other companies that worked togetherwith us on this one, saying me beeing the leader of the constrauction had nothing to do with the sucsess)
So now I got the job done, without any major setbacks, and no construction faultieseither, so I did t without screwing up...I'm happy smile.gif.

Well, since I'm so happy, I took some free time, and baked a whole bunch of Tellies cake.gifcake.gifcake.gifcake.gifcake.gif help yourselves ok...but the marsipan one is for me, and the Norwegian brown cheese is for minque only.

*takes hearty swig of brandy, before starting to shuffle down marsipan cake, hoping not to be noticedby all these respective people here at the coffee shack*

Drugs drugs drugs drugs drugs drugs drugs drugs drugs drugs.

As the t-shirt I bought says, in spanish, "The leaf of the coca is not a droga, es segrado," I couldn't figure out what the last words mean, figure it out for yourself.

Doomie you're so silly! I googled a spanish dictionary to find that Spanish word "segrado" and I couldn't find it. Do you know what it means now?

he must have had the shirt on and spelled it backwards from the mirror .... but we know what it means now due to Meril's having lived in South America. I guess they say it's sacred because its part of religious rituals for them ... like peyote for some N. American indian tribes.
