I've decided I want the Nintendo.
I just dont like the Xbox 360, and sony is gonna have problems with games, and price.
Nintendo is coming out with 30 games on release, and is acceptable in price range, and quality for that price.

Personally, I don't think Oblivion on a console is worth it anyway. Half the fun of an Elder Scrolls game is modding it.

Assuming I get a new console (with the PC bought though, it won't be happening for a little while) I will get a Wii. I'll stop buying Nintendo products when they stop making games I want to play.

The Wii is my choice for the year everyone and I will tell you all why. The Wii is plain and simple. You buy your console, accessories and games. Hook it up and have fun. It is fun for the casual gamers (Aka...my girlfriend) as well as the hardcores like me. If some game I want isn't porting to Wii, then I always have my PC that I have just spent a small fortune on getting it ready for Oblivion.

With the PS3 and the X360, you won't be satisfied with the graphics unless you buy a good television. So you are looking at 400$ for the 360 or 600$+ for thr PS3 plus at the very least 1000$ for a decent tv so the games actually look their best (Because that is what the systems do best) but it doesn't stop there because the TV will have crappy sound so you will have to go get a surround system that will set you back lets say 500$. Next, your standard cable arrangement will not do so you must go get a high definition source from a Digital Cable provider or Satellite. Plus the cord for your inputs and outputs aren't worth a damn because you will need the biggest, baddest component/HDMI/Whatever cables you can get your hands on....

I don't know about you but to get the best out of the PS3 or 360 makes my credit cards hurt just thinking about it.

The Wii is going to break ground in two ways. It is going to reinvent the genre by taking chances (remember many games give the option and allow you to use a Retro controller instead of freaking out waving the Wiimote around) and it will get gaming back to what it is supposed to be...fun.

Xbox 360 by far. I'm not sure why actually. Maybe the price and the number of the games. But I'm an Xbox fanboy. My first console was the original Xbox. If I got a PS2 I would probably like PS2 more and get PS3. But I looooove Xbox. Much much better.
