Yeah, I'll second your thoughts, Mallet. I'd offer to write something, but I'm crazy busy (till this week ends), and a little ashamed to say that I don't know most of the characters well at all.

Yeah, you could send her stats to me. I won't be writing the fight for a little while--I'm still working on my papers. In fact, I really shouldn't even be on the forum right now. But anyway, stats would be appreciated. If you could direct me to any parts of your stories that say a lot about Serene's fighting style I'd also appreciate it. I need to catch up.
Edit: Just received the PM, Taillus. Thanks. I actually have an idea to start the fight a little differently than the others which I think will work nicely... Dagon will want to mix things up a bit. Thankfully the version of Xander fighting in this contest is still among the two armed club. Otherwise it would truly be poor Xander. I look forward to this fight though. Who will come out on top?

Sweet, I look forward to reading it. The matchup between the competitors is an intriguing one, since they're both spell casters, and yet they're both capable with their swords. I have a feeling it's whoever makes the first mistake that decides who survives.

Well, I just read the conclusion of the latest fight, and recalled that the tournament (for the Masters, at least) continue to a 2nd round. Since Taillus hasn't been around, my piece describing the fight between Xander and Serene has been in limbo. Should we just give Serene a bye to the next round, or should I go ahead and post the first part of the battle and open the balloting? We really need to give the Clash a shot in the arm, somehow.

I'm fine with tomorrow, canis. Have a nice sleep and all that. And once again, I look forward to seeing this duel in particular for the above reasons I stated earlier.
But damn, I was rooting for Simion to continue onto the next round! I wasn't expecting Savlian to go on, but it seems that what I wanted to see was reversed. Looks like most people just don't like to see the bad guy win  .Well I'm happy one of my dudes survived the first round.
