Have you played "Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones"? Maybe you can help me. Please tell me, how do I become a Dark prince. You know the one with the chain, a sand monster... I heard in the final level somehow you can become it. It says in some walkthroughs. So I wonder... Maybe you know the answer? smile.gif
Thank you very much smile.gif

I don't know the answer to your question but one thread for this would've been enough.

Since the storyline is linear, the game makes you turn into the Dark Prince at certain moments, since you need his abilities to progress.

The first time you turn into the Dark Prince is shortly after the palace starts collapsing, which happens early in the game.

I know. I completed the game, but I heard you can choose...your destiny... I mean... well, you know... Or is it a lie? Well I heard you can somehow choose the end in "Prince of Persia: Warrior Within". You can beat Dahoka, and escape with Kaileena. OR, you can beat her, and Dahoka will take that sand amulet, or something... Was it a lie too? I dunno. But I hope not. Or maybe Ubisoft can make an expansion pack or something? It would be perfect! And all the game story... It's perfect too! I like it! But still... I think Warrior Within was better. So, would you tell me, did you liked more? Warrior Within? Or The Two Thrones?
Thank you for your time.

I've only played Two Thrones, so I couldn't really say anything about the previous two versions. I heard the music didn't fit the middle eastern realm of the game in Warrior Within. The music for Two Thrones was fantastic and the characterizations were really well done. And of course, the gameplay was really fun. Though it took me forever to figure out how to beat the third boss. Those two dudes, one with a sword, the other with an axe. Even once I did, it took awile to train myself to dodge them correctly.

I was soooo happy once I did it though.

You don't ever truly become and stay the prince. You purge him from your soul at the end of the game regardless of your intentions. You never are given any moral choices that you actually get to decide on, since the story is so incredibly linear, so I don't know how you actually ever would concieve attempting this.

I tried myself just to test this theory, and it came out false just as I had been expecting.

But hey, it was a decent game anyways.

Warrior Within had some sweet metal riffs playing all the time.

Sure, metal riffs are sweet to listen to. But considering the game is basically medieval Persia and Egypt, I wouldn't necessarily think those sweet riffs would fit in with the music.

I guess they build up the killing inhibition! biggrin.gif tongue.gif

Ok, now I see.
Next question:
Was It better to be a dark prince, or noble, classic, good old prince? tongue.gif

I could kills things much easier with the Dark Prince. His kills looked much cooler to. I loved splitting those sand creatures when you first get to use him in half length-wise. Mmmm good stuff.

So I bought the game.

Like Warrior Within, the ending depends on whether or not you get all the health upgrades.
