Quick update; My mother (I think you know who it is) has an Oblivion Character too know. I could ask her if she would like to post them. Then you'll know how Serene looks in Oblivion.

Well, she is not home now because her father (my grandfather) past away yesterday But she'll be home tomorrow. More pictures coming up soon.
And By the way, I wonder how you take screenshot while you are attacking (like Shiniku's pictures) It doesn't work for me. When I'm turning the view around my character, he can't attack. How did Shiniku do?

I like the last one the most, if the big guy in front gets removed. If the coloured Dath wasn't there, it would look like one heck of a sketch. Pretty and all.

I also see that you've moved on to Daedric. Going by screenshots, the Daedric armour is the only piece of Daedric I'd call an improvement. This isn't a case of 'Morrowind pwnz Oblivion', just a case of 'I really digged that old dagger that looked as if it was born to rip out still beating hearts'.

Oh, and I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say we would love to see Serene with more polygons and stuff.


Chiglet, your Orsimer looks funny. For some reason, I had a good chuckle at seeing her neatly combed hair. It just looks weird when the person herself looks as if she's been hit in the face with a mallet. Ah well, Orsimer are more civilized than many people are willing to believe, so I accept the neat hairdo.

Thanks! The dagger is just "Blade Of Woe" though. Anyway, since we installed Oblivion on the computer recently (I think it was two weeks ago) my mothers character sucks (really). Well, that was mean to say because she did not have so much time to play on it but but. Although she's got a nice weapon (and she actually use her Light Rainment Of Valor". Allright, I will upload Serene Catraso Of Cyrodiil in a couple of minutes.

Okay I will answer the questions, but first I wanna tell that she didn't like the black hair in Oblivion so she chose red. Now the other questions;
1. She joined the Arena because she needed money. Otherwise she prefers to pick flowers.
2. I think the sword is A Dremora Claymore wich I got for her in the Bruma Gate I think.
3. The woman is an Athletics an Acrobatics trainer but prefers to train dogs so I guess it's her pets.

@ Daedroth and Jack - I believe you are right about that sword being a Daedric Claymore. It has a definite Daedric look to it and the claymore is the only 2-handed Daedric weapon in Oblivion (that isn't added through mods) here is a list of the weapons found in-game along with some info about them. And yes, those dogs are that woman's pets

There are dai-katanas in Oblivion too so claymore isn't the only 2-handed weapon.

True, but Chiglet actually meant that the only two-handed weapon made of Daedric is of the Claymore-type. The Dai-katana is simple steel if I'm correct. (Well, Akaviri steel. Still steel though)

Back on-topic. While the shape of your character's face looks fine (though somewhat rounder than I remember Dunmer being), I'm a bit disapointed with the utter blueness of it. Is this just a case of having had poor lighting at the time, or is it because of the texture? (I remember hearing that Dunmer in Oblivion look more like Smurf's than Dunmer, so it could be the texture in which case there isn't much you can do about it. It's a bit sad, really.)

Well yeah, the Dunmer's skin is a bit sharp in Oblivion. Which I don't like. The count of Cheydinhal for an example, doesn't look like a Dunmer at all. Anyway, the mods on your character (Chiglet) looks nice.

True, there are dai-katanas in Oblivion. Though they are Akaviri and not Daedric. Which is a real shame as I just loved my Daedric Dai-Katana in Morrowind.

While the normal Dunmer in Oblivion actually are more greyish than blue, Aubret is not full Dunmer. She is of Daedric descent, hence the more blueish colour. (though her face is a bit more blue than the rest of her body - no idea why) It also makes her face a bit more round than normal. She's currently about 1/2 a head taller than normal Dunmer (another Daedric trait - I might make her just a bit taller yet), and her eyes are definitely of Daedric origin as I used the Dremoa eyes for her. What's nice about Oblivion is that you have a lot more control of exactly how your character looks, though I was actually trying to go for a more blueish grey for her. Lighting also does play a part in how the skintones look. Better light, truer colours. I'll probably end up tweaking her a bit more after I get all the patches and such loaded again, though it won't be for face shape, but colouration and hairstyle. Might even see about giving her a set of the small Dremora horns

Xivilai are definitely not normally blue, nor do they normally sport wings of any type - expecially Butteryfly ones)

btw - most of my characters are custom races, some tweaked even further in the CS (great tool), or just tweaked normal races. Great fun to see what one can come up with, though sometimes the results are rather uhm,.... er,.....let's just say they don't always turn out the way we intended them too

Well, after finally downloading a bunch of mods, here is the fruit of my downloading labor,

Sayuri, as you have never seen her. Yes, I know shes a Bosmer in Mephala's Maiden, but thats because I was basing her on a chracter tha t 'looked' asian on x-box. But with this mod I have an Asian add-on race. Very Nice!

Sayuri enjoys a summer breeze.

Maybe this outfit weill let her enjoy it more.
