Here's a couple of more pics of Valanor. This time, with the added benefit of a texture mod that changes the faces of all Oblivion NPCs, player character included. I think that my next character will either be the classic Arthago, which I've always wanted to play effectively in Oblivion. I've made an Arthago character before, but I only got to level 6 with him then gave up on the character. Now however, with the Improved Facial Textures mod, I can make Arthago look just like I imagine him to be. With the horse armour plugin from Bethesda, I can also make him have a stallion fit for a knight. The only thing left to do would be to get a mod that adds a castle from the internet. Then, I can have the ideal knight character. Well, Arthago isn't a regular knight but roleplaying him would be fun as hell. Anyway, the pictures! Valanor, close to the Imperial City. He is wearing casual clothing for trekking into the wilds. Valanor, with the Jerall Mountains in the backdrop. Same clothing as above.

@ Agent Griff - Really nice looking character you;ve got there. Which texture mod did you use for him? I use a ton of mods (mostly clothing and new buildings/places), but have little knowledge of how to use the CS and none yet on using nifskope, blender, or any of the paint programs. The male in those pics IS a vampire, yes. The facial textures are a custom job specifically for that character however, and aren't available for download. The mods I use for Aubret are: cosmetic compilation, Kikai's Playable Dremora, and Exnem. I also tweaked her stats a bit in the CS (she is part Daedra) The outfits she's wearing come from: Seductive Dark Seducer Armor (both non-nude and nude available within the mod - read the readme!!), Apachii Goddess Store, Little Lace Dress for Exnems (nude and non-nude stuff in here too, so use caution), and Growlfs Xmas Bunny 2007. As for the male, I know the body is Robert's bulky. Both outfits he's wearing are from Slofs Male Clothing. The black Bosmer eyes are actually available. If not in the vanilla game (though I thought they were), mods such as cosmetic compilation should have many of the eyes and features you might find fun to play with my wood elf, Jaesolel (with the Bosmer eyes) Bast-----( Slofs Seamless Dremora Texture ) -----( Alexanders Wings ) -----( Caine Outfit ) Hildegaard------( Slofs Playable Xivilai w/ added wings) Trixie (Kajiit based pixie/fairie) note - adding wings to a race that is tailed may result in loss of the tail Vadya ------( Chingari Demon based char who I'll be attempting for fix the testures on after I get Oblivion reinstalled fully) and a couple of funs Superman? Storm Trooper?? --------( Superman Suit ) --------( Storm Trooper Armor ) I've not put links to mods containing nudity that I know of, but if anyone wants the links, please feel free to pm me if you can't find them and want them As for alchemy and armor, I find alchemy the fastest and easiest to reach a master's level on, with any type of character. Loads of ingredients at the farms, and once you've joined either the mage's or fighter's guild, there's ingredients aplenty. As for armor, on my first time through Oblivion, my favorite armor was a set of chameleon spelled glass armor. all total, the chameleon was around 150%, with no cheating involved in it's making. Boy was I able to wreak some havoc with that armor.

IFT-Improved Facial Textures. All it really does is make the faces much more detailed by increasing the resolution of the textures. That way, old people no longer have those blocky wrinkles. The wrinkles are now much more seamless and realistic. The same goes for younger characters, their faces are no longer that...similar to a doll. It's a great mod. The Orcs look much better with it as well, not just all the other races. And you seem to have answered Jack's prayers. Bosmer with black eyes. Who would have believed it? It's not available in Vanilla Oblivion so you'll have to get that mod Jack. On another note, I've found a pretty interesting which deals entirely with house mods, from castles to floating estates. It's of high quality and I've downloaded some mods from there, which I am thoroughly pleased with. Here's a link: http://oblivionsrealestate.com/index.htmIt's called Oblivion Real Estate.

@ Agent Griff - I had wondered exactly what it was that IFT (and other facial texture mods) did Definitely a lot of nice stuff on that real estate site as well Much thanks for the info and the links. @ Daedroth - Both your characters look like you spent some time in generating them. It is more difficult to take screenshots using a camera, but the more you do it the easier it gets, and the better your screenshots get. Amozabael by Moonlight - taken with a digital camera Sapphire and a very old one of Aubret

Daedroth - It is the printscreen button found to the right of your F-keys For complete information on how to set up and take screenshots in Oblivion, check through the screenshooter's guide. Chiglet

You did a very nice job on Dath's face, Daedroth. I'm looking forward to seeing more pics from you BTW, if you want to get rid of the menus at the bottom, simply go into the console (the ~ key) type TM and hit ~ again to take you out of the console. Reprat when you are finished with the screenshooting though as you won't be able to get into your inventory while menues are off Though it does give a very interestint and nice background colour, and you can do a double shot of your character. I'm just barely starting to get my game back in action (hoefully no more error messages) so no new shots from me. Got a few older ones though A bit of fun in the console with resizing I win!! Down boy! Hey!!! Down here!! In the corner!!! Giger outfit 101 uses for a shovel

I like Dath's face. He looks so...calm.Oh, and is that Ebony? Black and gold, I bet it is. Chiglet, I won't press upon you my opinions of the fairy. (Ok, so I will. Looking nice, but not a mod I'd ever try. The Khajiit looks weird though. Those butterfly wings don't go well with the fur if you ask me. IU love the use of a shovel though.) I have but two questions. 1: Can you fly with those wings? 2: Is the game still playable if you're that small, or does it cause all kinds of probelems with furniture and stuff?

Fabulous hairneedle attack! I'm gonna be bald before I hit twenty.

Hey Jack! Thanks for the fast commentary The Kajiit fairy actually isn't a mod at all, but just some toying i did in the CS and console. I added wings (which unfortunately got rid of the tail), and made the size about 1/2 that of normal. In game, I simply shrunk her to a much smaller size. It's been about 2 months since I've serioulsy done anything with the game so exact commands I'd have to look up again. I might have used a different wing, but as there's no real description other than fairywings1, fairywings2 etc, I just grabbed and stuck 'em on. Had problems with the fur from day 1 on her. In fact, it looks so bad that I tended to keep her fairly well dressed at all times. In answer to your questions though: 1) The only way to fly with those wings is thorugh use of TCL. So, technically, no flying. There are mods out there that allow fliight, but you have to have OBSE installed (which I don't) 2) The game is still playable at that size, though there are minor probelms with furniture. Chairs are the biggest problem as one's character ends up sitting withing the seat instead of on it. Sort of the opposite effect if one has an overly tall character. Getting up onto things does take a bit of doing as well, but can increase your athletics and such as you constantly have to jump to get places. Including up stairs. And travel time by walking down roads takes a while longer. I mostly play in 1st person perspective, so normally don't see a huge difference in things, just when I switch to 3rd person Finally got my game back up and running. Though not with any mods yet So, here is my first character in the new game. Testina, an Orc female. 010203
