i bet its just a single person, but yeah. it does tarnish our forums. i think that we need a couple more mods. maybe some who are capable of being on around this time. dont usually see a lot of moderators near this hour it seems.

Greetings all. I've been unbearably busy in RL lately, but I thought I'd stop in and say hi.
HI. Okay, I guess I can go now. But really, I wanted to share something exciting with my online family: if all goes according to plan, I will defending my Ph.D. thesis on Monday. That means that on Monday night (if all goes well), you can call me: Dr. Planty I hope that all goes well. I'm a bit nervous right now, as there are a couple professors that I know are going to give me a hard time. And somehow I don't think that challenging them to a duel in the IC arena will help me out. I'll just have to hope that I have enough intelligence and willpower to best them in the intellectual arena. |

Thanks for all the words of support and encouragement. For now, I can use all I can get. At least its only a few more days and then it will be all over.
I should have more time soon, but not immediately. I'll be moving next Thursday to go stay with some friends for a bit while I look for a job. They do have dial-up internet, but being their house and all, I'm not yet sure how easy it will be for me to get online. But I'll definitely try to be here more once I've settled in over there. @Minque: You, an asset to a party? My imagination can come up with many reasons, but somehow I doubt that the majority of them are actually true. Perhaps we should just hope that you were a great conversationalist. Of course, I'll bet that being a woman probably helped, male scientists being the clueless, socially inept people many of us are (hopefully not me, but I'll leave that judgment up to you).  PS: his name is character, how imaginative..... but who needs to be imaginative when his/her entire life is devoted to ruining other people's lives? EDIT: he's also posted in the news forum, fan art, role-playing, and I just know this guy is a nut who needs to be stored away........ forever! Hey everyone.... Been a very long time. Sorry for the long absence.
Unfortunately I experienced a hard drive crash and lost alot of well.. just about everything. That followed up by a sudden career move in order to care to be able to care for a relative. Everything is starting to settle down again into a new "usual". I considered re-installing Oblivion again and all those lost mods when I remembered to check back with everyone here. I am pleasantly surprised to see alot of the names here I still recognize. Hope everyone has been well... |
