Merethicus
"Mm. Thank you, Root." Merethicus takes the jug of mazte and pops it open. "You know, we could try to get out of these caverns together. It's a tad more dangerous alone, I'd say, what with this army of evil about and all." Taking a swig of mazte, he continues: "So what say you?"

QUOTE(The Metal Mallet @ Feb 18 2007, 03:44 AM) Flogir, in the midst of battle
With a horizontal slash, the orc finally collapsed to the ground, clutching at his severed throat. Flogir scanned his surroundings quickly and found that the immediate area was cleared of threats. He paused to wipe the sweat from his brow and as he looked up into the sky, he was Flint floating through it.
Maybe possessing teleknesis isn't such a bad thing... he pondered just as in the blink of his eye, a blur of motion appeared before Flint. Flogir had no time to warn the Breton, so instead he decided to bring himself closer to his companion's aid. Perhaps he would find a rock or something to throw at the airborn enemy.
Voltar, with Veric and the Sage He leaned into Veric's ear. "I believe I've spotted our companion back nearby the Hill. I suggest we wrap this discussion up quickly. I'd also like to add that the stench of Mages Guild Magic encompasses the air; this lass is not alone."
Veric"You too, then? Alright we'll go and find Karn," Veric replied under his breath. He smiled and nodded politely to the Altmer woman, "We must leave now, sage. I've a previous appointment," he informed as he began walking almost straight towards her, for she happened to be standing between him and the battle taking place. Soldin"Uh thanks," Soldin said as he took the bow and quiver and attached them to his back. He wasn't really sure how to reply. The past few hours had been filled with firsts for the young Nord. This was the first time he could remember recieving anything in return for nothing; a gift. "Are we going to Hero Hill now?" Soldin asked Rann as they walked between Isaac and Satyana, and Ian and Serene.

The Sage
She let the two pass without comment, and began walking the other way. After a sufficient distance, she cast invisibility and took a direct root to where she'd left the battlemages. As expected the spot was empty, they'd all found vantage points.
The sage watched the fighting with a measure of curiosity. She formed a small pinpoint of light, waiting for the right moment to give the signal.....
Karn
The Breton evaded his attack, but it was only a minor annoyance. Karn landed on another rock andbraced for the telekinetic blast he was expecting. In answer to the Breton's warning, he muttered. "I could just leave, but then all my effort up until now would have been wasted."
Karn noticed the Breton's limp arm, broken. The Dunmer decided to make himself scarce for the moment, until he could take advantage of their lack of vigilance. He snuck into the cavern that Green-Root had been in last he'd seen the Argonian.....

Green-Root, in the cave with Merethicus.
Green-Root stopped eating for a moment. Then, he used his claws to tear the rat to pieces and stuffed it into his pack. After that, he took his spear and walked towards the small gap between the chamber they were in currently and the rest of the complex. ,,Sounds like a plan. The sooner we leave, the better. I'd say we take our chance and start moving while everyone is distracted by our heroes." He spoke.
He sniffed loudly and then spun around, pointing his spear at Karn who'd just dropped in through the hole in the ceiling. ,,I knew I smelled something. Didn't you leave with those two?" The Argonian hissed, subtly tensing his muscles in case of combat. The assassin had healed exceptionally well. It would be wise to prepare in case he'd come with violence in his mind.

Merethicus
About to reply, Merethicus is cut off by Karn's entrance. He stands up, and picks up his sword and shield while waiting for a reply to Green-Root's question.

Merethicus
Merethicus smirks. And then there were three. If we stay here a little longer it's going to become a true parade...
"Well, it's good to see there are more people with common sense around here."
He didn't trust Karn - much less than Green-Root, anyway - but it was dangerous out there, and there was strength in numbers.

Green-Root, same place.
Green-Root put his spear away grudgingly. ,,Fine then, come along." He grunted. He did not thrust Karn though, and would keep a close eye on him.
Flint Ironwood, outside.
With the assassin gone, Flint landed on the ground and finished off a few nearby goblins. ,,Let's get to Dalrus and Sodsa. I'd say we get out of here and rejoin the rest of the pack. Before we get swamped by the whole frickin army." He said to Flogir, changing swords as he did.

Flogir
Flogir fortunately didn't run into any more enemies as he hurried over to Flint's posistion. Flogir sighed in relief to find his comrade relatively uninjured and quickly helped him out and dispatching the nearby goblins.
"Yea, I second that notion. We need someone to take care of that arms of yours. I believe Sodsa and Dalrus are just south of here. Let's go!"
Voltar
Voltar strolled past the sage, paying no apparent heed to the spell slinger. He was confident in his abilities that he had no fear of any aggressive behaviour that she could do. Instead, he focused on keeping his sights on Karn.
Fortunately, he managed to catch the assassin entering the carvern once again. "He's in the carvern, Veric." He told his companion, obviously thinking that the Breton would understand who he was referring to.

Soldin
"Are you.. feeling okay?" Soldin asked Rann, "You look a bit tipsy."
Veric
"Thanks," he told Voltar, though he could have found Karn without his help. We seem to be going in circles.... Veric entered the cave to see Karn as well as a few others he did not recognize.
"Karn, my friend. I have brought your antidote. You're not down here conspiring against me now are you?" he asked. Veric purposefully spoke as if he and Karn were already allies. He hoped to anger the Dunmer, perhaps to get a better idea of Karn's feelings toward him.
Sadril
Sadril followed behind Rahvin, though at a greater distance than Rahvin followed Brianna. The cold was beginning to get to the Dunmeri vampire. The clothing he wore was not suitable to the frigid air and he had lost his cloak back in the Imperial City. As the falling snow thickened from sparce flakes to a heavier precipitation as their altitude rose, Sadril called out to his companions, "This was a bad idea, I think."
Though, of course, he didnt have a better one. He was just voicing his opinion to make sure he was still alive. The snowfall thickened more and Sadril quickened his pace as to not lose track of Rahvin. Though he found he was feeling quite weak and even as he told his legs to move faster, they only trudged at the same speed.
I'm not feeling well... I haven't fed in a while......... It's really cold. Sadril's thoughts got fewer and farther between when he finally slapped himself across the face to bring himself back to his senses. When he regained his awareness, however, he found that he had stopped walking and had finally lost sight of his companions.
"No matter, I can still follow their scent... for now," he mumbled as he walked in the direction his senses lead him.

QUOTE(Lord Revan @ Feb 19 2007, 10:23 AM) Karn, switching gears
When Veric appeared, Karn stopped himself from stabbing the mage. He turned to regard the Breton. "No, we weren't conspiring; rather planning an exit strategy."
The assassin spoke in a level tone, "so, since you're so interested in Serene and her kin, I can assume that you have a way of tracking them down?"
Veric"It's not like they're hard to find. They are seeking out the Silhouette, so if we know where the Silhouette is we know where Serene and the others are, or will be. And if that doesn't work, Serene and a few others have a strong magickal pull. I'm sure I could track them down," Veric cnswered confidently while pacing throughout the cave.

RahvinRahvin kept going along behind Brianna, and after a while he noticed that Sadril was no longer visible behind them. He tapped Brianna's shoulder. "Wait here!" he shouted over the deafening wind. "I think Sadril fell behind!" He turned around and headed back down to see what happened.

Voltar
What a warm reception, Voltar thought after watching the Argonian and a new stranger vacate as soon as they arrived. It would be unfortunate for a serious accident happen to them. Like, suddenly appearing paralyzed and recalled to a place 200 feet in the air...
He put the personal slight aside and returned to the conversation at hand. Indeed, he could as well locate Serene with no problem due to her magical potential. There was also that younger lass that has a peculiar aura about her magic potential. Still, he was actually more curious about something else.
"If you'd like my opinion," he started, "I would perfer to wait for them to reach the Silhouette, simply because I'm curious in meeting this "creature", or at least seeing him."
He paused momentarily. "Then again, they might need our antidote. We wouldn't want poor Satyana to die from any resurgance of the poison..."
