QUOTE(Dantrag @ Feb 8 2007, 01:01 AM) Rann
Rann caught short glimpses of the shadowy vampire, and he cursed his luck every time he got out of sight again.
Why can't I gain any ground here? he thought to himself. He was too busy running to think about magic or the enhanced abilities of a vampire.
He caught yet another glimpse of the vampire before he found himself in a clearing with his intended prey nowhere to be found. He looked around one more time, just to make sure he wasn't dreaming.
"Satyana?"
SoldinSoldin jerked upright when he sensed the sudden movement at the treeline. He looked in the direction of the noises to see an unrecognizable Dunmer standing there. Quickly, yet clumsily, Soldin got to his feet and drew a small hunting knife that was clearly not intended for use in armed combat. He pointed it towards the newcomer and formed the words, "Who goes there?" only to notice too late that only self-righteous legionnaires used that akward phrase.

Issac, the clearing with Rann, Soldin, and Satyana
He hadn't expected Rann to suddenly stop like he had, and had skidded to a halt as a result. But he only moved a little farther than Rann had.
Issac was just as surprised by the sight, wait, was that vampire leading us here to find Satyana? He had no idea if this was true, but he thanked any dieties that had diegned to give them such fortune. There was also a younger lad, maybe in his mid-teens, he looked wasn't like any single human race in appearance. Issac could tell he'd probably never lived outside the wilderness before......
When he asked who they were, Issac stepped forward tryiong to not appear threatening. "My name is Issac, and this is Rann. We're friends of Satyana." It occured to him that Satyana might not have given her name to the boy, but it was worth a try anyway.

Merethicus
"Good question. How about because it's too bloody dangerous to even get out of these mountains alive on my own, let alone the entire province? And then what? Everyone else is running around without their wits about them, leaving them easy prey for the Silhouette's forces..."

Satyana, dwelling in the shadows, between life and death
Who?? Is it? Oh can it be.....Rann?...And Issac?...ohhhhhhhhhh
Satyana was not entirelr conscious, she was living in a sort of dreamland, not knowing where she was or just anything. She was in a tunnel, but at the end she saw a light..a light that tried to make her come to it.Oh it would be so nice to just let go, but then there were these voices..these familiar voices . They stopped her from going, they urged her to get back......
Satyana moved her dry lips, trying to form some words
Rann? Issac? Nothing more than a faint whisper it was....
Serene, catching up
"Hey...where are you Rann....?? Issac? What´s up, have you found her?"
She burst out in the clearing and stopped. Rann kneeling beside a lifeless figure lying on the ground, Issac standing beside..and a young boy..looking almost scared when she appeared this sudden...
"Satyana!!!!" Serene rushed to her side "Poison, no doubt" she said "I wonder what kind....maybe that vampire can be of some help...I need some blood from her...now!"

Flint Ironwood, getting ready.
Flint looked at the gap in the ceiling. ,,I don't know what you want to do, but I'm going back up there and help out those young fellows. Don't get in our way." He spoke. He then stepped closer to Flogir. ,,Need a hand getting out?"
Semir Grey, Argonian coast.
The last of the wet crew climbed up the rope ladder, hefting a heavy chest on one shoulder. Semir had already retreated to his cabin. From up on deck, he heard the excited shouts of his men as they divided the treasure. He himself held only a soaked piece of paper which to him was worth more than any treasure at the moment. He carefully spread it out on his table. While the water had washed away most of the ink, he could still vaguely make out lines.
His finger trailed one of those lines, seeing how it went from an unknown continent which had to be Akavir to the place where they were now. A second line, in a different colour proceeded through the land. He froze when he saw where that line was headed. Cyrodiil.
The Breton bolted out of his cabin. ,,Alright, clear up this mess! We'll continue with the dividing later! Now though, we need to set a course. I want us to go to the Illiac Bay, at best possible speed! If any of those damn snakes or even the Imperial navy tries to stop us, we'll go straight trough them." He ordered around. While the pirates complained loudly, they went to their task without hesitation. Semir was usually easygoing. When he got serious like this though, it was best to trust his judgement without questions.

Ian, agreeing
He stared first at Satyana, then at the bowl, then back again. Finally Ian nodded, "very well. I had no intention on feeding upon her anyway." He marched over to Satyana and left Rann and Issac's looks to his imagination.
As he began to draw her blood, Ian was certain that this action was an abusive use of the talant, but that was the vampire talking. He spat a bunch of the blood into the woman's bowl, feelingt quite awkward at the moment he said nothing.
Issac
He couldn't believe what Serene was letting the vampire do. We're supposed to save her life, but I guess thjis was the only way. Issac glared at the monster none the less, and continued even after he finished his orders.

Issac, realization
When Rann gave him a look, Issac studied the vampire more closely. He hadn't payed a great deal of attention to it aside from what it did, but that was a foolhardy on his part.
He was slightly taller than average, he moved in a tantalizingly familiar way, and..... Then it dawned on him, "Ian?" Issac managed to cough out the name, the vampire was exactly like Ian, except for a sense of weariness and internal chaos.
Ian
He gave a brief glance at Issac then immediately averted his eyes. This is going to change a lot of things...... "Issac," he replied somewhat ashamed.

Flogir
Flogir was satisfied with the answers given from the mercenary. "I would perfer it if you would pick your sides wisely. Sure you might pick the Silhouette's side right now, but you're merely damning yourself. I think you're resortful enough to make it out of here alive," Flogir said and began to head towards to Flint but turned back around, he took out a sack of septims from his coinbelt and tossed it over to the mercenary, "Here's your payment, free your friend once we're out of here."
Flogir faced Flint once more. "Yes I would certainly like a hand in getting back up there."
Voltar, Arcane University Library
When Veric called out his name, Voltar came walking around the corner of a bookshelf, a heavy stack of books cradled in his arms. He closed his eyes briefly and the books disappeared. Opening his eyes, he gave Veric a bemused look.
"An adaptation of a recall spell that sets to my mark placed back home," he explained, brushing off the dust from his hands, "So yes, now I'm ready to get going."

Merethicus
Merethicus attaches the pouch to his belt and then slashes at the rope tying Green-Root up. As he does so, the mercenary whispers:
"I suggest you hold your peace for a little, 'Root..."

Flint Ironwood, giving Flogir a 'hand'.
Flint grinned for a bit. ,,Well, here goes." He said and Flogir flew up through the hole without any warning. Once outside, Flint released his grip and lowered the Nord gently. ,,Telekinesis, nothing beats it." He muttered and jumped out after him. Outside, he immediately noticed a few goblins who were busy climbing up the hill.
Flint unleashed a blade of air into the nearest pack. ,,This is going to be a long day."
Green-Root, untied.
Green-Root got back onto his feet and felt the large gash on his snout. ,,They're quite an interesting bunch, aren't they? Very diverse in origin, having met each other only days ago. Yet already they show more potential than a battle-hardened band of Legionnaires who know each other through and through. Not to mention they show determination. Actually trying to interogate us, that was unexpected." He commented, baring his fangs in an awkward grin. ,,It will be quite entertaining to see what they'll do next."

"Right you are. I'm going to suggest we try not to get too involved with whatever's happening up there.."
...'cause if those hordes of thugs can't make a difference we won't either...
