To Aki: Yeah, it (TES III) is a cruel and weird world all right. Someone could assassinate my low-level character in front of a citizen and they could care less, yet when my sister's character accidently picked up someone's silverware, eveyone in the entire bar stabbed her character to death. *giggles*

But you are right, the TES people seem to be very strict on conforming... Which is why my Necromancer would have a lot of trouble in Morrowind. :ashamed:

Oh, but its still a Medival world.

I'm sure while Cyrodiil is a accepting place, any Daedra worship would be dragged into the streets and beaten to death. for the Empire is all about the Aedra. Any Necromancer would be shunned by most if not all, even if he had permission for the corpses. Priests of Arkay would probablly shout curses at them, perhaps even arrange for such defliers of Arkay's realm to have...accidents.

There is always danger present for doing anything. Failure to conform in to the norm can be dangerous i nthe real world, and far more so in Tamriel, where it is (by comparission to this world) a cake-walk to get away with murder.

though daedra worshipping would be considered by imperials as a horrible thing, not eating every little bit of everything you kill is not so bad to the imperials. In fact, they don't care. At most, you'd be shunned by your fellow bosmer.

i have no idea what the name of my character will be, but i know one thing: since 50% of the land is forest, im most definitly making a ranger, either dunmer or imperial

Proffesion: A kind of warrior/assassin/thief/bandit/emmisary

Got a lot of steath skills apart from axe and speechcraft, the two main skills. The idea is a char which can do almost anything well; kill stuff, smoothtalk the locals and still lockpick a door and nick the valubles.
He was the only char in Morrowind i managed to complete it with and was a lot more fun to play mainly because of the aforesaid lack of moral values. He probably killed more NPCs than monsters.

EDIT: didn't muck around with magic tho, Morrowinds magic element was pretty weak anyway.

I will make a character that looks as much as possible as mine now in morrowind. A stealthy dunmer thief/assassin with many tatoos on his face.
He will not do the main quest directly becouse doesnt trust the N'wah imprials becouse he is still very used to vvardenvell and still has something against imperials, but it will probably chanche during the game becouse he is with so many imperials.

hmmm, i didn't invent a backstory. I suppose he was probably on the slave ship in Vvardenfell due to a couple of his schemes falling through. In fact, i could use their nice aging tools to make him look 26 years older than in Morrowind, in his sixties i guess.

i gots two ideas cant chose which one...

1st: dark elf, quiet, helpful, and one hell of a fighter
heaviest armor, usually a claymore or dai-katana, strictly melee, good leader but doesnt think he is

2nd:imperial, doesnt go out of his way for anyone except for VERY close friends, multitasker, medium armor, longsword, longbow, a little bit o magic

names? for the dunmer i know he'll carry the legendary Starcrest bloodline but dont know about whatever else
