Anyway I'm not the wolf that guides the dead to the afterlife. I'm the wolf that sits outside of chicken coups trying to try them into opening the door up. I'm the reason the rest of em got hunted almost into extinction.

They also saw them as the creature most alike to man. And sometimes refered to them as "Brother Wolf" or "Father Wolf", because they saw some wisdom or something.

My brain is malfunctioning right now, so i may be wrong.

No that's all true as well. I just liked the sound of Spirit Guide the best.
They also revered the wolf for its' nobility and stuff. In fact i have a thing stuck on my bedroom door written by an Indian called Spirit Wolf. I'll tpye it out and post it at some point. He refer's to the Wolf as teh great teacher or something like that
