Rann kept up the assault, knowing he couldn't last much longer without having to go on the defensive. Fortunately, he didn't have to as Green-Root took a well-aimed jab with his spear. The vampire had the presence of mind to hack the speartip away, but it still grazed his chest, and it left Rann a good opening. His katana slashed diagonally down, creating an ugly gash on his shoulder. Out of the corner of his eye he spotted both friend and enemy vampires collapse to the ground. "Ian's help looks to be out of the question," he said through gritted teeth as he blocked a vicious downward chop from his opponent's longsword. -------------------- "Its when murder is justice that martyrs are made"
