I have had a recurring dream the last three nights and it is starting to make me mad. It is about someone from the official TES forums (I think I spend too much time over there but they seem to be down right now). I guess I wouldn't call it a 'recurring dream' but the person has shown up in the last three dreams I've had and I have no idea why.

There is a topic like this burried somewhere, you might get in trouble for ressurecting it (especially after you've already made a new topic) but if you search it then you will find everyone's responces.

My dreams are only a scale between strange and manipulative. You may ask how a dream can be manipulative, well it is me which my dreams are manipulating, they put me in realistic situations, often replaying the day with very minor differances so when I wake up its difficult to distinguish between my dream and actual events. Its a scale so some dreams are more strange some dreams are more manipulative, if it is strange then its easy to distinguish from reality.

Heh, last night I remember seeing my room with all my clothes dumped everywhere like usual and I flipped out because I thought one of my roommates had been inconsiderately going through my compassion. I went through like the whole day thinking I had to reclean my room.

Lately I've been having dreams in which I am thinking of story ideas. When I wake up the ideas are either gone ... or they end up being really dumb. Feh.

Yesterday I had a strange dream that I was working at Radio Shack (electronics store here in the states; I'm not sure if the chain is also outside of the US or not). What was strange was that I was working with Jack Cloudy! This is odd since I've never met him: in the dream he looked like his previous icon/avatar thingie: the happy-looking cartoon guy drawing.

Wow, write them down as soon as you awake ... helps remember the whole dreams.

I had a strange dream about Pisces once, whom I've never really met; but he was a good friend in this dream. Except a bad thing happened, he didn't know 2 ppl visiting us were plainclothes cops and started talking about ppl he knew were dealing pot (which I don't think him or I even use) & the cops grabbed him and said he had to tell all and was going downtown. Cain & I were trying to say he was just kidding. I woke up quite upset until I realized it was just Pisces devilsmile.gif psychically messing with me!

Hmmm, I dreampt about Jack Cloudy once too but that was when we were both working on a MW team project...could it have been Jack Devil's Island mod?

You know what's fun? 9 and a half hours of work at a job that isn't entirely that busy. Fortunately I was given the tedious job of making bundles of 100 flyers into bundles of 200 flyers because I finished the book I was reading quite early today.

I definitely need to get to a bookstore before tomorrow, else I might go mad tomorrow tongue.gif

Edit: Hehe, this sounds like something I should've put into the Cafe, guess I forgot where I was posting. See! I'm going mad!!!

The other day I had a mildly strange dream. I was in Solstheim with my other MW character, Secundus (imperial male ... odd that he was in my dream, as I played him for a few days just for one plugin). In this dream, Morrowind was multiplayer and we were supposed to meet up with minque. The problem is that Secundus was acting like a game NPC, with that really bad following algorithm (he didn't have Emma's scripts) so I kept losing him. smile.gif

This morning's dream was much weirder ...

I was at a flea market and I saw a book. It was a Morrowind fanfiction that had actually been published as a real printed book. I did not recognize the name of the author but the brief bio on the back cover mentioned that he had been an officer in the U.S. military at some point and was now retired and writing books. I then started to flip though the book and I recognized the story! It was OverrideB1's Sudhendra Vahl story! but finished! Then I woke up. That dream gave me a strange feeling for the rest of the day.

Whenever I have a dream and it's not prophetic, it's ussually really wacky or really scary. Before I tell about the dreams however, I want to tell you about this prophetic dream I've had recently.

Now, Romania's Patriarch, Father Teoctist, has recently died at the age of 91 years old. The ellection is currently in full swing and everyone is using their connections to get votes for their favourite. Anyway, enough about Church politics which have ever remained the same. Some time before Father Teoctist died, I had a dream in which I was watching the news and saw the following headlines: "On the last road" (a statement which says that somebody is dead and they are taking their body to the cemetery) followed by "Busy highways". It was a really odd dream. Well, a week later, after I woke up, I went to the living room and there my mother was watching the news. It was exactly the same news chanel as in my dreams. I came into the living room right when the headline "On the last road" appeared and I saw that it was the Patriarch who had died. Afterwards, the headline with the busy highways came up.

It was really strange in the sense that I felt an odd feeling of deja vu combined with predicting the future. I knew that someone important was going to die, yet I did not know who exactly but it felt really strange to see my dream come true. It seems I had a prophetic moment.

That's all regarding my prophetic dream. Now regarding regular dreams. The last regular dream I had was 2 months ago and it consisted of me hugging a girl while waiting for the tram to come. I was having an odd conversation with her and feeling overall really snug. It was strange to say the least.

Another dream I had some time ago was a really scary one. It took place in some mansion of sorts. I wasn't really in it, two guys were. Oddly, they were both dressed as traditional Romanian sheperds. They were walking along the dark corridors of the mansion looking for a floating light. That light was floating around the corridors, through the rooms etc. One of the sheperds eventually runs after the light in a room only to find that it isn't there. He then sees a tunnel opening in the wall and enters. He never comes back out. The other sheperd only finds his coat next to the wall. The other sheperd then realizes something and starts running but he sees that the corridors have been walled off. Desperately, he looks around for a way out. A small tunnel suddenly forms in the wall of the corridor. He crawls inside but it also has a dead end. He then looks back to see the floating light coming after him. The dream then ends. It was scary to say the least.

I had a weird dream last night. I drempt that all veterans got called back to active duty due to a really big war going on .. so I had to go back in to be a medical supply clerk. When I actually was in the Air Force right after the Vietnam PullOut I had to learn alot of extra medical duties that were really beyond the scope of my Medical Supplies job definition - but in this dream it was even worse.

Everyone at this hospital was working 36 and 48 hour shifts without breaks and without eating and the wounded were just everywhere. There were cots and beds and bedrolls in all the hallways and aisles and it was really gruelling and gruesome. So the brass would pick out someone who looked like they might pass out under the strain and force them to take a blood test.

This happened to me and then I went to a round front desk to get my results and the Chief Master Sargeant said "That'll be $15.00" And I said what for? You didn't charge anyone else and he said that they all were either active duty or were covered by civilian insurance - but all I had was V. A. clinic coverage and I'd have to go all the way to the veteran's clinic for the rest of the testing if I didn't want to pay the $15.00. So I thought about it - getting out of that crazy hospital seemed that the V.A. would be a vacation, so I said I'd go there. So he told me how to get to the taxi stand.

At the taxi stand, the driver said "It'll be $15.00 in advance to go to the V.A. clinic". I couldn't beileive it. I told him "Then it'll be another $15.00 when I want to return I suppose." And he said yes. Then I thought that if I stayed and there were more tests I'd get charged even more...so I took the taxi.

Rather a financial dream it turned into but the really gruesome part was the beginning which was way worse than anything I'd ever actually seen in the service .. it was almost like the war wounded scene in Gone With The Wind.

I was certainly glad to wake up and find I was a civilian for real ....

All my dreams are either really dumb, or have something to do with Lord of the Rings.

Recently, I had this dream:

I wake up, and find myself in Minas Tirith. Oddly enough, there's a health bar above me. When I look at it, the health bar disappears. I have this weird feeling of being watched.

Proceeding outside of my supposed house, I find a Nazgul in front of me. The Nazgul takes off his hood and reveals himself to be the Burger King. As I turn around, a TES Orc runs into me, and a sign that says 'Camera 5# is down' appears.

Next thing I know, I wake up from my alarm-clock ringing.

What'd I learn? You should NEVER EVER read LotR and watch Orc-Blivion and King's Invasion until 03:50 AM.

3 days ago, during vacation, I had a weird one of my own. Weird, but damn cool.

I'll sum it up. Akatosh vs Mehrunes Dagon, with several differences.

1: I was Akatosh. SWEEEEETTTT!!!!!
2: Martin was sitting on my back between the wings. Too bad his sword was too short to be of any use. Which reminds me of Eragon's insistance on swords by the way. Dragons need (long) lances or bows, not swords. Swords only lead to unwanted wing injury.
3: Mehrunes Dagon was huge! Huge as in, his foot flattened all of the Imperial city in one step.

It was really cool, dodging those four arms while up in the stratosphere, spitting fire in his eyes. cool.gif

I've had some pretty twisted dreams in my past, and ever since high school I've kept a dream journal. I've typed up some of my most intense ones for topics like this before- but they're very long, I'm sorry! I'll only post one, if you're interested I have a few more smile.gif

This is probably one of my favorite dreams to share, and one of my scariest:

I was walking in a forest in the middle of the night, a thick fog high round the trees and the full moon high in the sky. I was following a narrow path, winding through the thick foliage and branches. I felt as though someone was watching me, but I could not pick them out in the area around me because of the fog. I looked down to see I was wearing a beautiful white gown, and ring of flowers rested upon my head. I was barefoot, but the dirt was soft and almost moist.

The feeling of being followed and watched became more and more intense as I continued to walk, but strangely I could not move faster to flee- however hard I tried, I remained at a walk, not wanting to get my dress dirty. I was deathly afraid, my heart racing, but I couldn't let them know that. I kept my head high and my steps steady and even, clenching my hands to hide the shaking. And quite suddenly I came to a clearing. The moon seemed pointed straight towards it, as it was well lit, with only the shadows of spindly trees making form. And in the center of the clearing there was a dead deer- a faun, with its rump speckled white. I looked closer to see that its insides had been ripped out, blood everywhere. I hadn't noticed it at first; it was as though it had started to melt into view.

I took a step forward, but withdrew immediately, horrified. I looked down to see what looked like a thick, bloody glumpy rope- and realized that it was the faun's intestines, surrounding the clearing, forming a perfect circle. And I had just stepped in it. I brought both of my hands to my mouth in absolute horror, but no scream came out. And suddenly I saw a white figure on the opposite side of the clearing, wearing a gown almost identical to mine- the only difference being a crest on the upper torso- showing an upside down star, wrapped in a circle. My hands fell limply to my sides as I watched the figure, entranced. I could not see its face, but it was definitely human.

It walked with such a grace to the animal that I felt as though my heart was flying with her. As she reached the faun, I could not see her face, but she kneeled down by the animal's side and placed her hands on its open stomach. I inched closer, careful to step over the intestines, and continued to watch. She leaned her head over the animal and her body started to shake and convulse- almost like she was sobbing. I felt such a sudden urge of sympathy that I rushed forward to join her in her mourning of the violent death of such an innocent creature- but as I drew near I heard something.

It wasn't sobs coming from the woman- it almost sounded like... slobbering. I stopped; mere feet from the figure, and a dawning sense of comprehension hit me. Her head moving from side to side, embedded in the creature’s stomach... she was literally devouring it raw, grunts of sadistic pleasure escaping her blood soaked lips! I started to scream, and this time I heard sound come from myself- but it all stopped seconds later.

For the woman lifted her head in alarm, and I finally saw her face. And it was my own.

The look in her eyes was one of gleaming madness, of sadistic pleasure. Her face was now covered in the blood of the faun, and when she rose to her feet and grinned wickedly, I saw that her white dress was stained in the red liquid.

And the most horrifying feeling came next- I longed to be with the woman, to do as she was doing- to kill the deer and feast upon its fresh meat, to feel its blood on my face. I felt myself being drawn into its power, the draw of evil... but in my mind's eye I saw my younger sister, dressed in a beautiful dress of green and yellow sun dress, dancing in a field of flowers. Her laughter rang throughout my thoughts- innocent laughter, her smile radiating like the sun behind her. And after a moment she stopped dancing and looked me in the eye- I felt her gaze go right through me, understanding… almost like she was freeing me.

And I was back in the grove, the woman still grinning evilly. But I was free from the spell, and I realized I needed to leave, to escape. I was terrified, but I turned and started to run as fast as I can. The woman shouted in a language I did not understand, but it was my voice I heard. I was clawing my way through the forest, trying to stay on the path, but it was getting more and more difficult. I had the sense that something was following me again, yet this time I could almost feel its hot breath upon my neck.

My breath was short and my steps were starting to weaken after I had been running for what seemed forever, and yet the thing pursuing me never seemed to fall behind, only get closer and closer. I did not want to turn, for fear of what I would find. However, when I felt my vision starting to blur, and my legs felt too heavy to move, I knew it was over. I was going to die. And so in one last burst of energy, I turned my head.

Behind me was the faun, its eyes fiery with accusation and revenge. Its insides were spilling out from it as it ran, littering the ground with blood and organs. I felt myself screaming, my heart feeling like it would burst from fear.... and I took another step forward. My foot sunk into the ground, followed by my body. Everything around me was dark, and almost gooey. I felt like I was floating, an advanced state of swimming almost. The deer had vanished from sight, as I realized I was sinking in quick sand. And surprisingly, all I cared about was how dirty I was making my dress, not the fact that I was slowly and inevitably sinking.

I looked up toward the sky and saw the moon, its light giving me hope. But it was all in vain, for I continued to sink. Once my neck was almost completely under, my chin almost entering, I looked up again to see the deer kneeling by the pond. I looked into its eyes, and it returned my gaze- no longer filled with revenge and hatred, now only with pity and forgiveness. And it was the last thing I saw before I sunk into Oblivion.

But it was not over- I awoke in a clearing, one that I now recognized to be near my home in the woods. I was still wearing the white gown, but it was covered in the mud from the quick sand- and I looked down at my hands to find they were covered in blood. As I raised my horrified gaze, I saw that the clearing was surrounded by many people from my life- an ex boyfriend, my father, my aunt, a respected teacher of mine- and my sister. They were all staring at a point on the ground behind me, so I turned to find... the deer. My sister was kneeled beside it, tears streaming down her face.

And then they turned to look at me, chanting "Guilty! Guilty!” But all I saw was my sister, her eyes asking me but one anguished, completely lost question- "Why?"

And I had no answer.

And then I woke up.

Wow, that's a pretty vivid dream, not to mention a little creepy.

I tend not to talk about some of my dreams because they last one I let slip out turned out to backfire and now it's an inside joke for my friends to say that I can't even get laid in my dreams. It's amusing but embarrassing at the same time. Plus, I usually forget my dreams unless they eventually turn out to be the deja vu ones.

Heh heh heh... oh, err, I can't go into some of my dreams. They're rather inappropriate. tongue.gif

Most of my dreams are pretty random and weird. Strangely, I have all my "normal" dreams when I'm sick.

I had a really wacky one.

Ok, so I was walking around, and people were calling me Jagar Tharn. (this is not a joke.)

So then I came upon a smaller version of Mehrunes Dagon (one with only two arms). He was complaining that his plane of Oblivion was too cold. And behold, snow and christmas trees everywhere. So being the friendly guy I am, I roll away a rock (apparently we were sitting in a cave.)

Then Mehrunes and his gang of Dremora go out of their cave to party and get drunk at the pub. blink.gif But they eventually become an annoyance so I tell them to go home and roll the big rock back into place. Then I woke up.

Ok, there is so much wrong with this dream, I really think I could use with a psychiater. wacko.gif

Dreams are so unpredictable...

I have a question, When I dream, i feel as if a breaker is switched and I live my day in my dream. Suddenly, I am awake, and go through the same motions that i did in my dreams. I even come to choices and recognize them, for instance, I went out for pizza last nite with friends and I dreamt that we would argue about pepperoni or cheese, then just choose sasauge because no one wanted it. Turns out, I remembered the scene in my dreams, and tried to tell everyone to pick cheese, but then out of my own mouth comes the words, "why don't we get sasauge?" I tell you, weird.

Hehe, my dream is kinda amusing now that I think about it:

In my dream I was Georges St.Pierre, a mixed martial arts fighter that I'm a fan of. In the dream I was training for my upcoming fight against Josh Koscheck. The details kinda get hazy now but I think I was attempting to deal with the pressure this fight was bringing me.

Man, I must be really excited about that fight since I actually had a dream about it. It's less than a week away now! tongue.gif

Speaking of unappropriate dream content... I recall few fragments of a wet dream I had last morning, when I managed to actually FALL to sleep. It also came from nowhere blink.gif I rarely have them, so this was a bit freakish. I am walking trough some wast field[s] of wheat and whatnot with a woman who has the exact same hair color as wheat - golden. She keeps smiling at me & talking something I can't fathom and then, out of blue, we go at it. Ehh.

Well, this is going to seem awfully childish after Mil's dream ... but I dreamt last night that I had a Morrowind dollhouse. It was absolutely kickin cool! Big and complex for a dollhouse and I had a catalogue and Cain would help me look through the pages and decide which parts to order next and they'd come in the mail. I loved it!!

Other part of the same dream was that I was an usher in a church and had to seat people. I kept trying to keep the church balanced, but everytime I seated new people - everyone from the most righthand side of the pews had gotten up and seated themselves amongst the middle and lefthand pews...so the right was always too empty. It was most vexing and I will never do that in real life because the people were slow, old, droopy, smelly, etc. ... not a good job for someone with short patience really.
