What are your dreams...., What happens when you shut your eyes? Options

I've had a very brief dream early this morning, almost like a flash of some sort.

I dreamed that I heard some screechy noises under the bed [didn't hear it actually, more like thought I heard it and decided to look under]. Since it's a couch, one side can be lifted up so a person can get a better view of what's down there. Well, I look down and to my great surprise [and horror] there are these huge [about 2-3cm, or ~1 inch] bugs that look like hybrids of cockroaches and termites; I notice they've literally eaten large portions of wooden floor underneath the bed and now are crawling around in some sort of dismay. There is also a really huge light-brownish/yellowish scorpion, as big as my palm, some 15-20cm [6-8 inches] away from my face, just siting there and not making a single movement; its back is turned and he is facing the termite-roaches. needless to say, I'm disgusted and back away - and that's when the dream ends.

All in all, it might have lasted for only a minute or less; I know this because I was tumbling and tossing in bed before it. I have absolutely no idea what it means. Maybe it has some connection to the fact I have insect bites and allergy all over my body?

I had a dream this morning (right before I woke up) that I had Azura's star. In addition to the in-game properties, it had a USB port and could be used as an external hard drive.

I think nano is messing my head up.

Last night I had a bad dream that I did worse on the ACT than I did.

Two years after I finished my 'college' I had a dream one night that it was a rainy, muddy morning in late Autumn and I was running after a bus because I was late for exams. It happened in summertime.

This may sound weird, but I haven't had a dream in ages. I just go to sleep and wake up. I never remember anything happening in between

I had a weird one last night. Although I think that the premise is pretty cool.

So the premise was this: Order vs Chaos. Something like that, anyway. At least they went by the titles Order and Chaos.

Whenever one would be defeated, it would resurrect in a new body and the whole cycle would start over. I was apparantly part of some sort of group that went around slaying these avatars before they could meet and wipe out the whole world. (For some reason, the avatars were weaker when not fighting each other.)

After a while, the bodies we got were:
Spaceship
bigger spaceship
ridiculously overpowered mages (Order and Chaos actually met, and nuked the whole landscape)
huge robots.

The huge robot was the last one. That baby was the avatar of Order. To beat that, we tried some huge robots (Armoured Cores) of our own. When that didn't work, I got to use.....Z-saber, from Megaman Zero. I also got his armour, not the hair though.
The dream ended after I got through the big robot's defensive fire.


Crazy, I know. But damn, I think this could be turned into one badass story with work.

Over the last two nights I've had very "sensual" dreams if ya know what I mean. I have no idea why either... perhaps I'm just lonely. So very, very lonely...

I dreamt that I was in some sort of garden, and when I exited through the fence, a small brown rabbit followed me. It escaped and ran out on the street. I wanted to catch it and bring it back to the garden, but I couldn't catch up with it or chase it back. Then it sat very still, like in fear, and I waited for it to calm down so I could approach it. But as I waited, a huge black hairy spider a little bit bigger than the bunny appeared from the grass and ate the bunny.

Lately, I keep hearing the sound of my alarm clock very loud and clear, and then I wake up to see that my alarm clock isn't due to say 'beep' for at least half an hour. Either I have a very vivid dream of my alarm clock, or the thing is malfunctioning.

Okay, I'm resurrecting this thread apparently.

I had a really weird dream last night. It had something to do with my fanfic I'm working on and something I'm writing in my spare time.

I was holding a longbow and had an arrow pulled back about to kill someone dressed in dark blue robes. I kept whispering to myself, Luna will die, Luna will die. (Luna is from the spare time story.) Just as I was about to let go of the arrow, I woke up. To say the least, I was annoyed.

When I was very young (like 5 years old) I had this recurring dream where I'd be walking through a hallway - just an ordinary, bland hallway with tiled yellow-green walls. I'd usually do a couple things - like drink from a water fountain or something. Once I ran into one of my friends from preschool.

Then, I'd open this door and I'd fall into this huge, bottomless pit. If I recall correctly, I could see some sort of stretchy black tar on the walls (think Venom's webs from Spider-Man). I'd always hear this dark, ominous voice - like the bad guy from the Mortal Kombat games, before waking up.

Those dreams scared the bejeesus out of me.

I haven't dreamed in a long time, but recently I had one. It was one of those dreams that was so mundane that I (consciously) thought I was awake doing in this experience I was accustomed to. I walked into a classroom, and realized I wasn't supposed to be in it this period.

I walk out into the hallway and strain my brain to remember which period this is and where I've already been. All the while I fail to realize the "hallway" is more like an airport terminal. The main reason I didn't notice was the sense of familiarity to the anxiety I feel when I'm in this situation.

I've actually gone to the wrong class twice in middle school and my freshman year (this one) in high school.

I know what you mean, Revan. I've been to the wrong buildings myself, only to realize I need to be in another building two kilometres away five minutes before the exam starts. Cue the panic.

Anyway, my dreams have been pretty normal lately. Only a Gundam or two last week which is a pretty damn mundane occurence for me. The only funny thing I might note that, like Ethelle back in April, I've been hearing the wake-up tone of my phone lately. It's really creeping me out because I hate that sound and worst of all, it only happens when I doze off during a nap! It never happens when I actually sleep during the night.

Then, still sleeping, I actually ask myself if I really just heard my phone or not. Only to remember that it couldn't have been because I didn't set the alarm. A real man doesn't need alarms during his nap!

Another odd dream I had when I was a kid. When I was about 10 I had this dream that I was in my old preschool. At the end of the dream, I was being tackled by a bunch of midgets in pointy hats. When I woke up, I was literally falling down onto my bed.

Boy, was THAT a disorienting dream.

I tend not to remember my dreams much lately. I suppose that's kind of a good thing.

I dozed off on the bus the other yeek and dreamed I was being chased by a giant monster made of lego bricks.

Suffice to say, it put me off plastic for the rest of the day...

I dreamt about a very nice luxury condo we had that was situated right on a rapidly running stream of water and the balconies hung right out over it. And my hubby was back working with computers instead of on disability ... wish fulfillment I suppose.

I dreamt that a bear attacked the little girl maggie from fallout 3 and she was wounded so I gave her a stimpack, then some sort of police caught me doing nothing special but their prison was an old cabin in a forest that I remember from the days were I was spending my time at the summers when I was young, anyway I took a pair of shoes and some sort of liqour and escaped. Then my mum woke me up.

I almost always have dreams were I step wrong and falls or trip on something and that wakes me up and always my left leg starts to shake after those dreams.

Yes, I also had som deja vu dreams, like when i´m playing a game or in school I sometimes remember things, I remember that and I trie to figure out whats gonna happen next to see if I really remembered it or I was fooled by my mind.

When I was young I usually dreamt that evil pumpkins came out of the basement.

I had a dream about karate. I can't remember what happened in it, or why I had it, but I know that it was cool dream (most dreams that involve karate are, by default, cool ones after all).
