QUOTE(blockhead @ May 27 2007, 07:49 PM) *

So in the course of research for fanfics I discovered that one can convert dates to and from the Morrowind calendar (give or take a few days). Turns out my birthsign in Morrowind would be the Atronach. That is so cool! It's my favorate birthsign! Yay!

ShogunSniper: amature is one of those words I can never spell correctly. wink.gif

thank you, i googled it and it would seem there are many ways to spell it on the web.

and what would my sign be? march 13.

From our very own Sinder Velvin:

Morning Star (January) The Ritual
Sun’s Dawn (February) The Lover
First Seed (March) The Lord
Rain’s Hand (April) The Mage
Second Seed (May) The Shadow
Mid Year (June) The Steed
Sun’s Height (July) The Apprentice
Last Seed (August) The Warrior
Hearthfire (September) The Lady
Frostfall (October) The Tower
Sun’s Dusk (November) The Atronach
Evening Star (December) The Thief

Note that the Serpent does not have a fixed month, but "wanders the heavens, threatening the other constellations."

Mage for me, actually according to the Firlament (sp.) My personality matches the Mage pretty well.

Gamewise, I never play as it though. Normally, I'm a Thief. But Mage fits me better. cool.gif

I'm an Atronach, though I prefer Mage or Apprentice.

Hmm, fire, stone, ice, steel or flesh? How about all of them? Yeah, I'm the steel-clad, flaming, cold-hearted cyborg with stone skin. Fear me! biggrin.gif

Impressive, but psionic power are the ultimate force of nature.

What good is fire when contained in a vacuum?
What it freezing ice when turned to vapor?
Or metal when it bends like rubber?
Flesh when it is carries away by the wind?

-A poor attempt at poetry, by Lord Revan.

You my point, though, nothing is greater than psychokinesis, the force that is not bound by any particular law of physics. Or have an opposite force to confront.

Thanks. smile.gif I can never spell that word. sad.gif The way I type it is always so far off that spell checkers fail.

And going back a post or two, I'm still marveling that my favorate Morrowind[1] birthsign just happens to be my real life birthday (well, birth-month). smile.gif Rashelle[2] and I could have the same birthday, lol! biggrin.gif

I'm back, more or less. I'll be resuming my posting after a little burn-out period. And my birthsign, apparently, is the Atronach, though I never play as one.

Hope his brother comes through, whatever the reason for being in the hospital. My regards *takes off hat*

But I do not think I joined during that time, but it would be a miracle for all those missing people to show up again, if only for one evening......

there was never a time when this forum bustled with hundreds of people daily. its always been this quiet if i recall.

it may have picked up a bit during the OB hype.. but in the most recent august? it mustve just been one hell of a coincidence to have 150 people on at a time.

What was I about to post? Oh. yeah. Job offers, all turn out to be bogus. Not much money. Not much of a summer vacation [plans], either, except more useless work. In the meantime, I'll waste more time on IRC, so if anyone wants to hear with me, you know where to find me [although #chorrol on ChatSpike's servers is mostly reserved for sleepy people].

Not sure.. I've been here since pretty much its creation and I can't say I've seen more then 20 people on at one time.

Wow.. Has it already been over three years?

but, did the numerous forum switches keep track of all of that info?

Thanks for warm regards everyone. I kinda had to leave on short notice the other night but I'll fill you in on what I understand about the situation:

Yesterday, my younger brothers (who are twins) were playing in a provincial qualifying tournament for rugby. In the second game, my brother had the ball and was taken down. While down, one of the opposing players decided to sucker punch him in the face and this ended up breaking his jaw. I guess at the time he thought he just had a tooth knocked loose but he was bleeding quite profusely so he went to the hospital.

Today, he went into surgery to have his jaw fixed and wired shut. So he's currently spending probably a few more days in the hospital to recover from the surgery. He's going to be wired shut for like 6 weeks though. But from what I understand, the surgery went well, so eventually he'll be back to normal. Support around here was been really good.

As for the 150 people online, I was on that day and I think that only happened because of the google.com thing. We seem to get more guests when that things around, since I think there might've been like 3 actual members on at that time. The rest were all guests.

I finally made an offer on a house so hopefully I'll be moving in the next month or so. I should be hearing back next week on the status. I guess it is going a bit slow because the house was owned by the bank because of a bankruptcy so there was a lot of paperwork and whatnot to fill out. I don't mind though, I'm getting the house for dirt cheap.

Mallet- sorry about your brother's injury- glad he is recovering.

Sir R- That is excellent- I hope you will enjoy the new house.

Mrs. Treydog and I are considering whether we can move to our land in the next county by next year... We will have to build, but the electricity and a well are already in place. Lots and lots of trees, deer, a small creek... Just have to build something to live in.
