Well, I've never actually seen anything run out of ammo but whenever I pick up a Plasma Rifle after a long firefight with an Elite, that Plasma Rifle has less ammo than the Plasma Rifle of an Elite which didn't manage to get off as many shots.

But yeah, Elites also loose it sometimes. Not as much as Brutes do, but it's still there.

Yeah, I imagine the entire Covenant and all of humanity could keep shooting at each other until the sun destabalizes before anyone runs dry with one gun.....

I liked the banter with Achilles though I doubt if an AI like that is very efficiënt.
But it was still funny.
