QUOTE(milanius @ Jan 5 2008, 02:47 AM) Blast from the past! Sisters of mercy & Ofra Haza - Temple Of Love
Temple of Love was a Sisters of Mercy song from the early 80s. Ofra haza was late 80s / early 90s. I had no idea that someone had mixed/mashed them. Wow. Just strange enough that it might work.

I'm listening to Genitorturers' "Flesh is the Law" album. Again. Why? Because I got a CD hand-signed by Gen (their lead singer) today. That's reason enough My favorite by far is the song for which the album is named. One of the reasons for that is how Gen can change from screaming at the top of her lungs to actually singing smoothly in a fraction of a second. <scream>YEAH YEAH YEAH!</scream><sing>Flesh is the laaaaaaw!</sing>

Celebutante - Survivalism [NIN remix]
One of these days I am going to write a complete 500+ word review of this remix alone, since it is so... damn... Godly... good.

I'm currently listening to the album "God Was Created" by Vehemence, an American Melodic Death Metal band. Their style of Melodic Death leans much more to the brutal, American style of Death Metal rather than the infectious Swedish kind. And for those of you who are faint at heart, I wouldn't suggest reading the lyrics, as they can be quite twisted and morbid. Despite that, they are more tasteful than most lyrics you'll find in this sub-genre. The music is wicked too.

Lyrics to it are confusing me a bit :S must be some obscure brittish industrial thing... don't know about original but the FF version is awe-inspiring. Zero signal, on the other hand, that is one downer of a song. Dang. edit QUOTE(Everlast @ "The Greatest") Don't throw no roses on my grave, boo That's not a soldier, it's more like an angel You got no where to run, no one to pray to Jesus and Moses ain't comin' to save you (The greatest, the the the greatest)

After spending the weekend with my cousin, I've come to like a few new songs. Numb by Linkin Park and Silver and Cold (Afi). Still, there were some songs I doubt I'll ever consider downloading, at the most. But I've really taken after: -Diem Ex Dei and Preliator (Globus) -Citizen Soldier (3 Doors Down) -Time of Dying, Never Too Late, and Animal I've Become (Three Days Grace) -Striken (Disturbed) -In The End (Linkin Park) To name a bunch.

SOAD - Chop Suey!, NIN - Gave Up and lots of fresh funky things SV gave me -_- tomorrow is Valentine's Day. For Catholics. For us, it's St. Trivun's Day. Forsake, forsake, forsake. edit [Feb 15th, 2008.] QUOTE(Suede @ "By the sea") She can walk out anytime, anytime she wants to walk out, that's fine, She can walk out anytime, anytime she feels that life has passed her by, And when I start my new life I won't touch the ground, I'm gonna try hard this time not to touch the ground.
He can walk out anytime, anytime he wants to walk out, that's fine, He can walk out anytime, across the sand, into the sea, into the brine, And when I start my new life I won't touch the ground, I1m gonna try hard this time not to touch the ground.
So we sold the car and quit the job and shook some hands and wiped the make-up right off, And we said our good-byes to the bank left Seven Sisters for a room in a seaside shack, And when I start my new life I won't touch the ground, I'm gonna try hard this time not to touch the ground?
...it's by the sea we'll breed ...into the sea we'll bleed...
Not a fan of Suede, but this one, both tune and the words, get to me every time, especially the ending [italic]. Maybe because it is so optimistic? This post has been edited by milanius: Feb 15 2008, 08:31 PM
