I am listening to the soundtrack from Grey´s Anatomy....lots of good music, and some less good of course but still I like the variety of it, and I´ve discovered some new artists I didn´t know of. Like Inara George, The Umbrellas and Thirteen senses...

Well, I finally got my own (out of print) copy of the great Voivod's album Nothingface. Voivod is one of my favorite bands, and is easily one of the most creative metal bands I've ever heard.

Nothingface is pretty much the beginning of Voivod's journey to the more progressive side of things, with their sci-fi lyrics and sound. They even throw in a metal cover of Pink Floyd's "Astronomy Domine" with which I am very impressed. Check 'em out.

I've been meaning to check out Voivod's back catalogue for awile now. I've read thought that they're planning to re-issue or remaster some of their back catalogue. Supposedly "Rrrroooaaarrr" is going to be re-released in September and they're also working on "Killing Technology" and "Dimension Hatross" I believe. So, I'm gonna wait for those to come out and then look for any other releases I stumble across.

I really wish the 'remastered' version of War and Pain wasn't terrible. The sound quality was so bad to begin with that the remaster wasn't great either.

Dimension Hatross is probably my favorite Voivod album. Definately worth checking out.

I don't suppose anyone knows where to get the SCORE Album from Transformers? Not the songs by various artists, but the music Steve Jablonsky was supposed to have composed.

No idea, Revan. Anyways, here's my random weekend list:

Vader - Impressions in Blood
Bokor - Anomia1
Vintersorg - Solens Rotter
Devin Townsend - Ziltoid the Omniscient
Chevelle - Vena Sera
Giant Squid - Metridium Field
Unearthly Trance - The Trident

Hehe, it'll be interesting to see if my new CD orders come in next week. I think that if I combined my two orders I have like 20+ CDs coming my way. It's going to be fun once I get em!

I'm listening to Breaking Benjamin a lot these days... three albums We Are Not Alone, Phobia and Saturate. I think they're pretty awesome.

I just bought one of The Black Keys' first albums, The Big Come Up. It's very nice.

Well for this Saturday I decided to listen to a portion of the new CDs I've recently purchased (I actually bought 14 of em).

Rapture - Futile
Rapture - Silent Stage
Candlemass - Candlemass
Candlemass - Epicus Doomicus Metallicus
Blinded By Faith - Weapons of Mass Distraction
Bible of the Devil - The Diabolic Procession
Grayceon - Grayceon
Slough Feg - Hardworlder

I'm pretty happy with some of these all ready.

I'm currently listening to "Bongo Bong", by Manu Chao smile.gif

Throughout the day I've listened mainly to Clint Mansell's stuff, including some of my favorites- "Death is the Road to Awe", "Requiem for a Dream", and "Dead Awakening".

Any Dethklok fans? Their album, DethAlbum, is coming out soon...

As of now the Priest is experiencing an ongoing struggle with Apple to fix my iPod, technology....who needs it?

Anyways, its back to CD's...and with Revan listing to old stuff, I pulled out Kill 'em All and Master Of Puppets by You-Know-Who. Awesome stuff. Especially MOP.

Meh, Rust In Peace beats out MOP in my opinion. But, I've never been all that interested in Metallica ever. I do have MOP but I rarely listen to it.

Metallica is good any day of the week, although for me today's tuesday, so that means Mastodon!

On Dethklok....

Yes. My band has actually learned 'Go Into the Water'. We're thinking about opening with it sometime.

I do have to say that I like Rust in Peace better than Master of Puppets, (and Megadeth better than Metallica) but Master of Puppets is still a great album. (My favorite from Metallica)

Dethklok is blacker than the blackest black times infinity...

I wish i had a drummer to play along with, Go Into the Water is great and fun to play...

I can't get the exact notes on the harmonized riff, i play around the seventeen on last string...sounds okay

How is that band doin, what is your genre?
