I don't know if she'll be alright. And I've been helping my stepmom with her two year old since yesterday and no one else will take him. Not his grandparents, not his dad, no one. And he's so confused, and every time he sees someone that looks like her, he goes "Mama?" and it's so heartbreaking and I can't take it. I walked out of the room and made it down the hall until I saw my stepmom, then I lost it. I just can't...fathom what this little guy is feeling. He's two, and mama is gone, and... god. Just...god!

Things will work themselves out. Just keep your head on and do what you can to relax right now because it is difficult to accept but the situation is beyond your control. The only thing you can do right now is be strong for your family and help out with her son until you get more information.

With your tremendous compassion for others you are seeing how every aspect of this tragedy is effecting everyone at once - it is too much for anyone to handle. You can't do that, it will break your ability to give of yourself to even one - and that is not you.

When you are with your cousin, you can't speak but you can send your strongest love and prayers for her. When you are with her son, you can't think about the other aspects of all this - only keeping him happy and cared for so this tragedy doesn't affect him any worse than it already is.

Everyone has to be a little stronger in themselves through this and let the shock and grief hit in your private moments so that child is not exposed to any more then the upset of his mother not being there right now. Just keep thinking that she will be back.

I am sure the thought hitting about that being the same hospital your father was in is striking you hard, but riight now you are so in shock from everything else - it just adds another stressor onto the huge stack you already have. You have enough on you, that is something you have to put aside for the sake of everything you need to do now for your cousin and her family.

Like Kobby said, think of only one thing at a time so you don't overload yourself with stress. <3
