QUOTE(Elisabeth Hollow @ Oct 28 2013, 05:45 PM) They're moving my husband's grandma home tomorrow. She's not bad enough for hospice, and are releasing her to go home at home. She'll most likely pass away at her home.
Not bad enough for Hospice is a good sign as far as how peaceful/quick/painless they think her passing will be. That should be a condolence at least, and she will be home with those who love her instead of being in the hospital - always a plus, it is impossible to sleep in a hospital. My best wishes that your husband's family will have this time to spend with her and say the things they all would like her to hear

Sorry to hear that, Liz. It is better to go home than to sit in a room at a hospital somewhere. At least there she will be in a more familiar and relaxing setting.

QUOTE(Elisabeth Hollow @ Oct 31 2013, 09:11 AM) She can see, bit the eyelid isn't healed all the way yet. It'll be a while. She has weekly appointments for it. She has no eyebrow, and it might not open all the way ever again. Thanks for the concern This is great news, Liz! Her doctors must be really dedicated that they didn't give up on her limbs/eye. That is a much better prognosis than what was feared immediately after the accident. That is awesome news! Bless her heart, we are all still thinking of her and keeping her in our prayers <3
