Yeah, and I'm great at taking credit for things Rane did, too! <_< Vodka for that guy is on me, then.

My semester exams dates are from 17 on. I have Friday the 21st off, and will have the day before off too because I'd spend all day at votech, which I will discuss with my votech teacher. I'm supposed to find out soon if I'll be able to get a scholarship so I don't have to pay for the A+ Exams myself. QUOTE I do agree that academic teams often/usually become cesspools for male nerds' unvented testosterone. I knoz. I tried to be in it in 8th grade but, meh... the kids, to say the least, formed a their little clique there. The funny part is, half our team are chicks. I don't really care for the other chick members though, especially the one that seems to be bordering on being a psychopath, but that's a story for another time. I got my housing and meal plan contract in the mail today. Whoohoo! One more step closer towards my freshman year of college. ...naturally, the Computer Science Special Interest Houses are in the MEN ONLY DORM. Not everyone who majors in CS has male parts... QUOTE(Zarrexaij @ Dec 6 2007, 01:20 AM) It's not required for people to stay in the special housing for their major, but it's still pretty silly they put Computer Science Special Interest Housing in a men-only dorm. Basically sends a message that "you need male junk to major in CS."
Calling male reproductive organs 'junk' is really depressing. But beside that, situation is still hilarious as much as it's tragically prejudicial. Back at my old Uni, there was this nearby building that served as dorm for out-of-town engineering students and the setup for genders was completely democratic - both males and females were crammed up in there, although there was more of males [because, ZOMFG, a female engineer is like a black sheep ]. Of course, there also weren't many male-female roommates, for obvious reasons... Back to my crappy life & health. I'm better when it's day [at night I get fever] and I'm expecting this bug to go away in several days. meanwhile, I'm going to start working at the new job at the PC & hardware distributors Monday, Dec 10th. Hopes are up. This post has been edited by milanius: Dec 6 2007, 01:47 PM

I can't exactly say the anatomically correct words for the male package without it being censored, now can I?
And speaking of males, my ex is being such a doodyhead (to put it as unobscenely and unprofanely as possible), a liar, and a killjoy. I told him I asked if I could see him the 21st and 22nd. He went "[Screw] that, that's less than a day." I told the git we had agreed on it a few days ago, that he said it was fine and I said it was better so I could buy his gifts before Christmas. Well, the shoddy liar he is tried to tell me he TOLD me he wanted to spend a few days with me, and he never did. My memory isn't that freaking crappy. Wish he would stop making crap up and stop trying to make me look like a stupid liar.
I hope that killjoy is really happy for doing two really crappy things to me in one week. He's really good at crushing my feelings.

QUOTE(Zarrexaij @ Dec 8 2007, 06:22 AM) Meh, tired and not entirely happy.
No, my ex is an ex because of the distance issue. Nothing to due with him being grumpy. Hell, I don't know if any of you have noticed but I'm quite grumpy myself.
Nope, grumpy? Nothing rings a bell. From that story, I have only gathered he wants to spend more time with you, and that's a good thing. The kill-joy, lying part, eh, not so good. Reconciliate? QUOTE(Zarrexaij @ Dec 8 2007, 06:22 AM) One moment he's okay, the next he's mad, the next he's fine... good grief.
Sounds like me, or my father... damn the gene pool. This morning is decent. A bit cold and no snow, but it's also dry on the ground - all in all, good weather. And the coffee's good. My nose is the last remaining thing that bugs me, but that is trivial. At this Monday [confirmed], I'm starting to work for this PC and hardware distributing firm. 5-day working week, from 9 to 5, pay is great. All I have to do now is be a dedicated employee.

I really don't care for "The Heart of Darkness" by Joseph Conrad. It's like The Scarlet Letter all over again, except it's in Africa.
Man, my mom just spent 150 dollars on me for the advance payment for my housing and meal plan stuff for university. I would have prefered if my stingy father would have paid, but alas, it is not so. He should have, considering he spends all his #$%^!@# money on himself. Selfish prat.
I slept too much for my day to be bad, but it wasn't good either. We're supposed to get an ice storm tomorrow, and I'm not particularly looking forward to that.

I've just update my new fan-fic, I edited my last post it won't say so, but I did. In other news, I've been given an early Xmas present by my parents: Mass Effect Soundtrack. It's been great so far, I've been told it will be available through iTunes shortly. I'll be out of state from the 21st to the 26th (my mom wants to go to Arizona for Xmas ), and my eldest cousin will fly down from Oklahoma and spend some time with us until Sunday. Who plans to see some of the new movies coming out by Christmas? AVP 2? Sweeney Todd? Others?

Ok, so my project's at it's final stage ...for now! I'll be returning home in a couple of days, will be nice to see my cat again...oh yeah and to see the family of course, but I'm so used to be away from home so....ehh nevermind. Project's been a sheer success, so far, part two will be in january so I'm gonna return here again. I have bought something extremely nice, a dock with loudspeakers to my ipod! Geez what a wonderful invention, good clear sound, a perfect music device for travel! It's standing here right beside me and I;m enjoying it's sound immensely! Oh and my daughter will be back from US....probably today, with a brand new ipod classic she bought for me! yayyyyy,, (the US dollar rate is very favourable just now so... )

@Minque- I've also asked my parents for a soundsystem for my iPod. I'll be getting a lot of milage out of it. Good luck Mil! I'm sorry Zarr, hopefully there won't be too much stress to add to that equation. PS: hasn't anyone looked at my fan-fiction? The only new view was my own. 2nd PS: I've gotten an account on Photobucket, and I've gotten an image, formated it for avatar, but no matter which link/code I try, the forum will give me an error about something. I'm about ready to bang my head against the keyboard I'm so annoyed. This post has been edited by Lord Revan: Dec 10 2007, 02:41 AM

I've got a brutal next three days. First off, I got an annoying cold leaving my throat and my nose clogged. Secondly, I got an exam Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Fourthly, I also have a 10 page essay due Wednesday that I have yet to start . Fifthly, I work Monday and Tuesday from 5 to 12ish each night so that takes a big chunk of time I could use for studying/writing. Oh how wonderful these next three days will be...

QUOTE(Zarrexaij @ Dec 10 2007, 03:33 AM) I have my semester exams next week. So much for no stress. *Steals Zarrexaij's stress and eats it along with his breakfast* Because, let's face it, my stomach can't be more agitated by anything right now 35 minutes left.

I must have been a very good person in a past life, because while most of you seem to have exams and such coming up..... I finished college for christmas break on friday with no exams. Huzzah! That's kinda mean, but since this post will most likely fly straight under the radar anyway.... meh
