I got the identification thing all sorted out, so there's no worries.

Right now I'd like some Arbys or Taco Bell. Yeah, I'm hungry, and there's not much to fix. I guess I could cook some rice and put some beef boulion (however you spell it) in its water. Put a little butter on it.

Yeah, the spaghetti wasn't saved last night. sad.gif

Mass Effect, he's a turian named Nihlus. Zarr's avatar is Wrex, a krogan battlemaster. And I remember that old thing, here's to it not rusting this cold season. wink.gif

Tenek and I are going to a Xmas party tonight for the church, should be fun.

@Zarr- I hope your not as much of a picky eater as I am, there are somethings I just refuse to touch, probably won't serve me well when I'm going to academy in a few years.......

I should hire you to go on business trips for me. I've just come back from Munich, and while I love the city, I just detest having to sleep in a tiny uncomfortable hotel bed and drive five hours there and five hours back.

Ahhh yes...I just love travelling! I could volunteer doing business-trips for ya Stargie...no problems!

Oh today I managed to change curtains, install some electric chandeliers in addition to extensive laundry-washing! Gah....nobody washed during my absence...I haven´t even started doing my own yet...had to fix for my son first he had barely anything to wear..poor lad! And hubby! He even had to buy some shirts...hehe evillol.gif

Well, I just treated myself to a new guitar, though I don't actually have it in my possession. The store only had one banged-up one, and I wanted one without all the scratches and dents, so they had to order me one.

While I wait for it's arrival, I find myself just looking at it here.

We had lovely winter weather last 2 days, if not too cold at times, with real snow. Yes, it actually snowed!

Me & mates at work are on good terms, although I irritate them at times, because I'm slow right now. Duh tongue.gif I just started to work, I want to be slow at first. Besides, running around while there are 150$ processors near your feet on floor [literally] waiting to be packed shouldn't be done with haste.

Bar-code readers, now that's another kind of Breton Witch... at times, when I'm archiving the new parts or preparing ones that are in store for package and transport, it's hard to aim the barcode reader at the proper barcode [one with the serial number of product], when there are 4 or 5 of'em densely packed near each other... but, practice makes perfect.

Other than that, great company and rap music at work [HAH] and cold weather, there ain't much new stuff.

Hey guys, WASSUP?

Went to the grocery store with my mom. Ended up with 50 dollars extra, so we bought some stuff we wanted (frozen goods, other stuff). Came out to 133 something. That's really good for everything we got, especially these days where milk can be five bucks and two pounds of ground beef 11 bucks.

Some pizza is in the oven. Mmm.

Tomorrow I'm making my mom's birthday cake. It's pineapple meringue pie, and Im doing it two days ahead of time so I actually have time for it.

I'm in a pretty good mood, and hopefully nothing will ruin that. Now all I need is for my ex to be at my side.

Stupid distance issue.

I'm in a very happy tonight as my luck with women has finally turned onto the good side of things for once. I can't get too excited yet though, it was just the first night and I was somehow amazing tonight. It'll be interesting to see whether I can keep things going when I decide to call her.

*literally slams on wood, instead of knocking* good luck Mallet!

I am in a good mood too. Funny thing is, it only takes a bit more of snow biggrin.gif yesterday, while I was sleeping, loads of it fell and covered everything. Now, today was a bit less frosty than yesterday, so I cleaned both our cars [the Bug and Golf] and afterwards, I made a few snowballs, just for target practice.

Weapons of snow destruction

I love it when both sky and earth turn white. It certainly looks much prettier than mud, combined with rotting leaves.

p.s.: I looked at the recipes for pineapple meringue pie and it looks interesting, not too complicated. Canned pineapple isn't too expensive nowadays; I might try it sometime.

In the meantime, best of luck with your culinary project, dear Zarr and a happy birthday to your mom smile.gif without her, we wouldn't have you

I made the cake and my mom loved it. It was quite delicious. Pecans in the meringue... mmm.

Used a whole 20 ounce can for the filling instead of 8 ounces of canned pineapple. tongue.gif

Today has been pretty good, I guess.

After the long silence from Tennessee, I have news to report. Starting January 15, I will be in a new job. (Yay, me!) I have not really been looking for anything; this one came about as a result of me having an application in the state system for over 2 years. Decided to interview kind of on a whim and was offered the job. I will be an Information Resource Support Specialist 2 for the Dept. of Human Services (or whatever they call themselves).

Basically, that's a fancy name for a desktop PC support dude. (High 5, Mil!) It pays almost twice what I am getting now, and the schedule is more regular- I will actually have my Saturdays back! The teaching will have to go away... and I will miss the folks at my current (soon to be former) job. But...all my state benefits carry over (retirement, 401k, leave, etc.). So, no more working six days a week.

And what does this mean for all the fine Chorrol folk, you may ask. Christmas presents, perhaps? Eh, not so much... but I will be able to get back to writing and move Athlain out of limbo. And then maybe I can also catch up on some of the other writing that has been going on here....

May my good fortune touch everyone here is some way, not just now, but through-out the year.

MM, your post sounds tantalizingly exciting .. hope all continues well. You are a charming self of a person, so I don't see why not.

Mil, I envy you the beauty of the snow but not the cold and definitely not the digging out of the vehicles from under said snow.

Treydoggie, that is marvelous great news! And Danny, what a cool guitfiddle .. teehee. Ummm, our roaming correspondent Minque sounds ever restless and willing to got job/will travel. Zarr so glad that your mom loved the cake. Pineapple merangue? I will needs to look into that myself - it does sound delicious.

To ALL Chorrol citizens ... have a Happy Happy Christmas shopping season!!

Well, I got done with two out of six semester tests. The AP English one I had to take early, but I thought it was way easy.

Tomorrow I have AP Calculus and AP Chemistry. Good thing it's AP Chemistry that I'll have to take in the morning. tongue.gif

This week has sucked, no way around it. It started out alright, three and a half days of school before break right? But, lo and behold, I pick up a virus on Monday! sad.gif For the first time all sememester, too. devilsad.gif I've been running fevers and being reasonably normal under medication for the last two days.

Not only have I missed two days of school, but the TEK check tests scheduled for today!!!!! At least I'll be able to go to school tomorrow....... I can't believe I'm saying this, but it sucks that tomorrow is a half-day. Oh, well, can't change the past, might as well deal with it.

Ahhh I thought I did my last day before Christmas holiday today...but nope, I´ll have to visit my sweet NPP tomorrow as well, see if I can keep it to merely clean up my desk and wish my nice colleagues Merry X-mas. Did my hair today...hehe great color if I may say so...

YAY Treydog! a job with just 5 days a week! Now isn´t that nice...and a sweet increase in salary, that´s not bad at all! Congrats my old friend!

Tonight then...well my washing-machine is working as usual, I´m sort of planning to prepre my big ham by putting it in water overnight...because tomorrow night will be my "cooking-ham-whilst-everybody-else-sleep" That´s so nice..to have that time for myself! And as a special treat...I will be the first one to taste the ham! YAY

Now Ibis, Mil, Zarr, Wolfie, Revie, Mallie and all the rest of you..

Have a nice "preparing-for-christmas-evening"

Thanks Minque! I still have two days of work to go through before I get my x-mas break. I hope that I don't have to close tomorrow and that would make everything that much better. We shall see I suppose...
