It´s still bankruptcy we´re dealing with and that´s never a good thing. The lawyer is determined to find a buyer with the intent of continuing business as usual and for that we are needed. I don´t think I actually have to go on the 23rd this month, but nothing is certain.

The boss is gone but the damage is done. We´ll see what happens.

On another note, it more and more seems like the bankruptcy my company underwent was unnecessary. Given four more weeks and we would have been in the clear more or less. No one´s job would have been in jeopardy and I wouldn´t have lost two weeks of paid vacation.

Good one! But better yet, if he owns a house - sneak onto the roof and drill a few tiny holes, then unscrew the gutters just over the windows. The water will leak in unnoticed till the damage is unrepairable, and every time it rains you will be thinking about how the damage is accruing, ROFL !!
