No posting of random nonsense, no posting of irrelevant things, no posting the same thing over and over just to get it noticed, no swearing or flaming.
4. No religion or politics.
No discussion about religion or politics is to be had in these threads. If you want to discuss religion or politics, please do make another thread, or if another such thread already exists, please post in it.
If you have a question about the rules of the forums, feel free to ask it to either a Global Moderator or an Administrator.
If you're unsure if something is fit to post here, it might be. Again best to ask a Global Moderator or Administrator.

So what with the storms and all, our cable modem gave up the ghost sometime yesterday- so no Interwebz for me. (Much to the relief of the greater Chorrol community).

We kinda knew the modem was dead because the little light marked "Power" was NOT lit. Thus what follows.

Mrs. Treydog called Charter's 800 number and was on for an hour.

Without going into the details- think the "Dead Parrot Sketch" with the Charter "technician" as the pet shop owner.

"It's not dead- just ping this IP address."
