The dogwood and apple trees are in bloom here... massive eruptions of white blossoms. The redbuds are providing their lavender accent to the mix. And there is every probability we will have a frost Sunday or Monday, which will blight the blooms and prevent the apple trees from bearing fruit.... But today was a good day, working outside under blue skies. If I get off my lazy rear, I will try to post a pic of the original Treydog in the Real Pictures thread.

With a bit of luck (and hoarding of money) the start of this summer is gonna be awesome. Me and a bunch of the guys from college are gonna head to Graspop in Belgium, where, among about 70 other bands, KISS, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Opeth and In Flames are gonna be playing over the course of three days. As well as that, we're gonna spend a couple of days in Amsterdam XD

Cool, you'll be in the neighborhood then.

You know, if you happen to travel through Nijmegen on your way to Amsterdam, you're welcome to drop by, we could have a drink or something. smile.gif

Just kinda wanted to explain why I haven't posted as much lately. The obvious answer is the right one, real life has been keeping me away from the time I usually spend visiting here. I've noticed I got a lot of stories to catch up on and I'll have some time during my week break between exams in a couple of weeks. Next week I might have a bit more time on my hands since I won't be getting any homework before exams. We'll see though.

Oh yes! Symphony X were amazing live, everything sounded spot-on despite the fact that their vocalist claimed to be under the weather for the last few days. They basically packed the place where they performed.

Well, "off-topic" actually is the topic in the Coffee Shop, so no harm. I have finally sent a pic of the ancient dachshund to the Real Pics thread. Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the spring weather

I don't know if anyone's interested, but I have the impulse to post this anyway. Does anyone like Disney and Pixars' animated (or CGI) movies? The new one they're making looks so stinking hilarious, heck, the whole thing looks so cute. Wall-E, at least take a look at the trailer. biggrin.gif

Yeah, I'm fine. I just grew up watching Disney and Pixar so I generally give all their new movies a try. Anyway, I guess I've still got a little child in me somewhere that enjoys family movie.

Hahaha, there isn't anything wrong with Disney. As a matter of fact, I just recently asked for Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame for my 18th birthday. 1) Because I got a wild hair and 2) It really isn't that bad of a movie.

I can describe a few things as cute: cats (I want to own one after school is behind me), dogs (not as much), and lots of other animals I have no intention of owning or living with but cute none-the-less. Just like you don't live under dozens of aliases (sp.) and have a silenced pistol on your belt, I'm not the embodiment of darkness in human form.
There's a difference between thinking something is cute and squelling like delighted girls (oh, the horror). Regardless, cute is not an uncommon description of that movie from what I've seen, I just share the sentiment.

Me goes to college on Ashland Oregon where learned I very good english.

I was working at the town I grew up in, and it honestly felt more like I was going home than leavng home when I left because of all my friends here in Ashland. Honestly, nothing quite feels like home except for Argentina right now.
