Anubis, tormented by fleas, reverts to dachshund form and grabs a discarded stick (actually Mil's forgotten Tesla Rod). Following friendly Ibis into the water, Anubis/dachshund submerges until only his nose and the stick are above the water. The fleas all crawl onto the stick, which he releases and allows to float away.

Now thoroughly wet-dog smelling Anubis returns to shore and flings roast beef around to go with the potatoes. Makes mistake of trying to chase wild cougar.... This does not bode well......

...you know what's scary, Trey? You almost read my mind I had 2 of those and I used one for the gun, but I can't, for the love of life, remember where I hacked the second one. You just got yourself a plausible excuse to implement that baby in the name of Chaos and Alternate Current.

The effort of roaring, combined with excess food makes Kitty barf....the smell should make the enemy leave, if it weren´t for the Tesla-thingies..

Between his own wet-dog odor, the kitty barf, and the Cthulhu slime, Anubis sensitive nose is overloaded. He spastically waves around the Tesla Rod, not understanding the technological implications. Microwaved potatoes begin raining down. Anubis/dachs dematerializes into the land of the dead, where the smells are better. (All that incense used for embalming, don'tcha know).

[Ibis]

Ibis welcomes Anuba-dasch into the land of the dead .... the warm waters of the river o' de-nile are her other home.

Ya know, Milanius .. we are told that treydoggie is excellent at reading others' minds. (that is why Ibis has befriended him, besides protection from the cougar-kitty ... he is very good at intuitively rutting out potatoes)

*Cougar-Kitty looks around, searching for Anubis, when he can´t find him he lies down, promising himself he´ll stop eating*

Hapless Anubis/dachs, lured back by the silence of the cougar, sees Milanius waving oaken club and thinks it is a game of Fetch. Doggie bounces around and wags his tail furiously, trying to get Mil to throw the stick.

*continues to chase Chorrolites with his low tech wood stick, then spots a lone Anubis and throws a stick at him* go get'em, Tiger!

Cougar-Kitty just found a poem that he reads (or roars) to Anubis, just to calm him down

Calmed and inspired by the poetry, Anubis decides that the cougar kitty must be his old friend Bastet.

The glowing green confuses Anubis, who believes the moon must be rising. True to his nature, he begins to howl--- poetry:
