Thanks. I'll have a character sitting around cloud ruler (or at least getting swept there in the reteat). Anyone got any suggestions as to what sort of character this RP does/doesn't need? I haven't RPed in a while so I'll definately be on the side of good. Is there any role thats lacking?

And lastly how many years after the oblivion crisis is this?

Sorry for all the questions but I may as well get it all right.

Ok...now let´s see:

Satyana, sister of Rann and Amrita, now as Mallie said Brianna, the mother of the three, experienced some weird situation conceiving her triplet, so Satyana is half Nord, a quarter Dunmer and a quarter imperial, whilst Rann is 75% dunmer ans 25%Imperial! Satyana has a relation to Issac....oh aye they´re lovers. They are amongst the goodies anyway! There is some mysterious spell laid upon the siblings....there were dark powers trying to even prevent them from being born....

Brianna The mother of three! (uhhh the power of three..yikes) Ther oddity is that the three kids have different fathers. Rann´s father is Rahvin (Danny´s char), Satyana´s father is Jadier, a nobleman, former fiancee of Brianna. Who Amrita´s father is.....ehhh I won´t reveal that just yet...but he´s not far away.

Brianna have had very strong feelings for Rahvin for a long time and now finally thay are a couple....it´s been a long story to get to the current situation

Satyana and Rann are really not on speaking terms....for a certain reason...and she´s not friends with Amrita either, why she doeasn´t even like her mom!

How many years after? Now I don't remember, but I think it was around 20-26 years.

What kind of character you want depends on what you're looking for. If you want to do lots of talking and little fighting, then by all means, make a diplomat or something.

If you're looking for heavy melee fighting though, you'll have to make him/her quite powerful. The point is, our RP has escalated to the point where Joe everydudes simply can't keep up. There are exceptions, like Flogir who can, but in that case, you have to remember that Flogir is a commander and never fights alone.

I'm sure there is someone who can give you better advice on the subject of character creation.

It's 19 years. Well, I have the honor/burden of having the most characters in this RP. I can't tell a lot of the time.

Ian, a vampire agent, he's about forty years old physically and chronicalogically (sp.). He was raised as an agent, so he has a more reserved attitude toward death and violence than most. However, his impassiveness is contrasted by his fatherly disposition towards Issac, his adoptive son and apprentice, and his lover, Satyana.

As a vampire, he almost exclusively drinks the blood of fallen enemies. His life-long service and vampirism (speed, endurance, etc.) have also made him one of the more potent melee fighters. Ian's of the Cyrodiilic bloodline, meaning he is relatively human when well-fed (he can walk in sunlight unharmed, and vampirism is subtle at first).
He is responsible for killing Mannimarco (the King of Worms will be back someday), and is one of the individuals who knows for a fact that Altair/Veric is more than a simple good-intending politician.

Issac, an Altmeri agent and swordsman, he's the oldest of the younger heroes (23). Originally, he attempted to be a mediator among his peers, but Rann's combative and stubborn nature have worn down his patience as the situation has deteriorated.
Issac lacks Ian's extensive experience, having only begun working in the field years ago as opposed to a decade and a half. Issac has an antagonistic relationship with Rann, and by extension a difficult time with Aerona, who defends Rann's allegiances because he saved her from being tortured.

However, Issac has a supporting/supported relationship with Rann and Amrita's sister, Satyana. Both of whom are wary of Altair, privy to Ian's distrust of the politician, which is one reason why they are at odds with Rann and Amrita.

Karn, formerly a ruthless assassin and anti-hero. The Dunmer assassin has had a history with Ian, in which both have had many unfinished deathmatches. Originally, he was a hired killer for the Silhoutte, but after meeting with Patholos, a forsaken priest of Sithis, he has developed into a more charismatic and dignified figure.
Together, the two former members of the Dark Brotherhood met with a large congregation near Leyawiin. They spoke out against the beliefs of the Bortherhood, urging the gathered members to forsake the heathen Dread Father and start a new beginning.

In response, the Wrath of Sithis appeared and attempted to stop them. The spirit failed, and its demise was the final push Karn needed to cause the brothers and sisters to question their patron and beliefs. The Brotherhood has not yet been completely converted/eradicated, but a sizable percentage has united under the Narza'Tai, an organization aiming for the continued existance of the beacon of mortal civilization and power, the Empire.
They do not accept simple murderers like the Brotherhood, they maintain an more militaristic standard, no longer a collection of killers for hire, but an elite group of shadow soldiers who will do whatever is necessary to maintain the virtues of the Empire.

Plys'Iea, an otherwordly individual under the command of the Silhoutte. He considered only a monster among the Morrowind Army, although he is as intelligent as any sentient. His features are mostly reptilian, a foot-long snake-like neck and head are all that is not protected by heavy plate armor.

The alien is a hunter and warrior by nature, fighting tooth and claw as well as with weapons. He cannot pronounce Tamrielic words, his languages are restricted to Argonian and Akaviri, as well as the language of his people.
He is the largest and strongest warrior in the Silhoutte's army, standing as tall as an ogre and faster than most men on foot. In spite of his monstrous appearance and brutal attacks against Morrowind soldiers, the hunter is cunning and thoughtful, he is simply following the orders of the Silhoutte, whom he respects greatly.

I would call it a burden. Seriously, Revan. You've got so many characters, you could rp with yourself and still pull out a good story. laugh.gif

Heh, maybe I should get myself a third. Having multiples can be great fun. Only thing is, I don't know what kind of character to take and I'd rather wait till things calm down for a bit.

I guess I have to do a short thing about my characters as well?

Rann is a 'spirited' young dunmer. Known for his extreme stubbornness, argumentative nature, and ability to hold a grudge. He's also impatient, headstrong, sarcastic, and cocky. At the same time, though, he is usually just doing what he thinks is right, as jaded as that might be. He is Satyana and Amrita's half brother, and as of now, has very few friends among the group. (Notable exceptions being Amrita, Dalrus, and Flogir)

Rahvin is Rann's father, who is (in his most recent years) a pretty levelheaded and sensible person. When Rann was born, he pretty much abandoned his old self (which was a less extreme version of Rann) in favor of a more responsible and mature adult. He and Brianna are pretty much married.

Aerona is a young vampire girl that joined the group when she and a few other vampires attacked them. Aerona was little more than a slave to the other vampires, so didn't mind leaving them. Rann saved her from a brutal torture at the hands of the deranged Patholos, so she's fiercely loyal to him, even though it goes against her normally logical thought process.

Altair (fake name) or Veric (real name) wasn't originally my character, but since somebody has to play the bad guy, he's been passed to me. Uh...he's pretty much trying to take over Tamriel, and believes that the three siblings (Rann, Satyana, Amrita) hold the key after reading over many scrolls of prophecy. He learned that if he could convince them to join him, then his goal could be achieved, but if they were against him, he would surely fail. So, he originally tried to kill them before they were born. Now, since he failed his first attempt, he plans on bringing any of the willing siblings into his fold, while the unwilling would be put to death. While others have their suspicions, Voltar is the only one that truly knows Altair's real identity.

Ian won't move against Veric even if all of his suspisions are confirmed, at worst he'll approach Rahvin or Flint and ask about Veric twenty years ago.

Flint won't know that much, I suppose. Other than that the Breton had yellow eyes, was outrageously powerful and is general bad news. He can't give out any 'good tactics' or something.

While I'm on the subject of Flint, I've noticed that I've begun to powergame again, what with Flint running all over firing arrows and all. (Granted, he missed and his arms were shaking. But still, that's way too much he's been doing for the supposed age he has.)
So, being the simple guy I am, I got him beat up. He's clumsily and slowly making his way to the northside of the city now. I don't give him long before he passes out.

Finally, someone to control the bad-guys properly! Um, ShogunSniper was the one that originally controled Altair, right? And, of course, no offense Dantrag but I always think that a character's original creator knows him best. Good thing to have you back Shogun.

The war's been in the streets of the Imperial City for awhile.
Now the Morrowind Army is preparing to retreat to north. Altair is going to find a spell that will banish the Silhoutte to Oblivion.

Meanwhile a conspiracy of sorts has formed, whose members suspect Altair is more than a simple politician (now the magical assistant to Chancillor Ocato).
Primarily, the leaders are Ian Karn (since he worked under "Veric" not long ago). The others at the moment are Issac, Satyana, and... All of the Narza'Tai (a new assassins guild under Karn's leadership).

Well, the fact that Issac and Satyana don't trust Altair has caused a very large rift to form between them and Rann (who also blames them for Soldin's death).
Green-Root is dead, Cerpin is off somewhere since Ian allowed him to take a body.

Mannimarco has been slain, cmd. Astratus and Eurod have been infected with Lycanthropy (though they are properly quarentined).
Once the army retreats across Lake Rumare, they will head to Cloud Ruler Temple and Bruma, spreading their forces between the two lacales and along the countryside.

Good to have another quiter... Uh, I mean member back in the RP. bigsmile.gif

Oh, and Vasha and co.......hmm......weren't their slight implications of Kalsh having the hots for Green-Root?

Satyana and Issac are at the shore already, helping the Narza'Tai and other civilians with moving supplies and people onto the rafts. They aren't in the city anymore, they're not running to and fro carrying bleeding people. The Plys'Iea is on the....... hill? Whatever you'd call the place the Imperial Prison sits on (I created a five person-wide path winding around the "hill" to the shore below) so he's practically stopped the flow of refugees and supplies for the moment.

BTW, it's Tamrielics, not Tamriellians or whatever.

Does the Silhouette have any other established henchmen besides the Plys' lea? If not, I'd like to try my luck with an evil Tsaesci snake dude under the Sil. I mean, it never hurts to have enough generals does it? From what I've heard around here, playing an evil character sounds like something one should avoid until acquiring enough experience. But hey, it can't be that hard right?

So, what's the board's oppinion on my idea? Afterall, it only details the villains which (to me at least) are made up of too much "mist and sh**t" at the moment. Adding another villain to the repertoire should add to the colour, imo.
