All I know is if Joker gave me a gun an pointed it at my face after killing the woman I love and leaving me a hideous freak, I would have shot, all epic conclusions about life aside.

But it was the structure of his plot that really got me, I personally think the only way to do it was have him get screwed up in the end and then let him undergo a longer, smoother, more realistic psychological break down in batman 3.

I saw it a few days after it was released with my friend and her sister.

Personally I loved it, I thought it was just one of those films that had everything you could want in a movie. That being said, this was not a comicbook superhero movie...this was a supervillian movie with a superhero in a supporting role. Heath Ledger's Joker owned everything in this film and was the one to capture the audiances attention with very little effort.
