An easy question: what game have you got in your console/PC/whatever at the moment? I've got Metal Gear Solid 4 in at the moment, and I'm enjoying it immensely. A bit cutscene heavy, but one of the things I like in games is the storyline, so I'm not too bothered.

Playing Ys: Oath in Felghana (aka Ys III: Wanderers from Ys) from Steam. If I know Ys lore Oath in Felghana is suppose to take place after the events of Ys IV: Dawn of Ys, Mask of the Sun or Memories of Celceta so story wise the next game is Ys V: Kirkin Lost City of Sand which is then followed by Ys VI: Ark of Napishtim another game I'm playing from Steam.
I love the Ys series but due to localization I was only to play the snes/Genesis version of Ys III for awhile, then the PS 2 came out which allowed me to play Ys: Ark of Napishtim (to this day the PS2 version of Ys VI is way better then the PC port). Then the PSP came out and I got to play Ys Chronicles which had Ys I and II, then I played Oath in Felghana and Ys Seven on the PSP and lastly there the Vita which has Ys: Memories of Celceta which is a retelling of Ys IV. Thought I give Battlefield 1 a shot and so far the single player's meh but the online modes specially Operations is pretty fun, I have to wait for the rest of my stuff to finish downloading before I can continue the Resident Evil LP. I'll get back to that as soon as everything finishes downloading.

I just climbed out of the seat of a Tie Fighter, having served with Admiral Thrawn to create a new Imperial Base in the Outer Rim. Even after 20 years, Tie Fighter is still a fun game.

I spent the afternoon playing X-Wing. This time I tried the 1998 Special Edition from Gog, rather than my old 94 Collector's Cd version. It took some doing, but I got it working in 3d video.
I have heard that the iMuse sound system had been removed for the Special Edition. But as far as I could tell it was still there. In the very least the music does change when I meet the victory conditions of a mission. I was having some issues with the sound playing on the Cd version, with it getting really scratchy, filled with static at times, and even cutting in and out. I tried cleaning the disc, but to no avail. So I don't miss the Cd version. I installed the 1998 Special Edition of Tie Fighter as well, and got it working in 3d. I have not played it except enough to confirm that it does indeed work. I think maybe later on tonight I will create an X-Wing / Tie Fighter topic to detail the exact steps to get both games working in 3d video. -------------------- |

I have seen quite a few lightsaber mods, and other Star Wars mods. So yes you can!

There is a Twi'Lek mod!!! And there is a Zabrak/Iridonian race mod too! I see a Force Powers mod as well.

What am I playing?
Currently Divinity II DKS, it's great fun actually - proper old school RPG with some nice twists. Looks lovely too. I recently finished Mirror's Edge - (the first one) - and I really enjoyed that, a lot more than I thought that I would - which was great, for all sorts of reasons. Before that...? Well that was "Rise of The Tomb Raider", which was AWESOME. \m/><\m/ I'm thinking of a new Oblivion playthrough, but I'm currently searching for a story, so we'll see on that one. I've got the disks ready though and dug out my "best mods to use" lists, so that's always a good start...
