Uh oh, when he offered up that water and Abiene forgot to check it for poison, I was worried. Now I see rightly so. Up until now I had at least been confident that with her spells, Abiene would be able to fend for herself against anything the Innsmouth Folk threw at her. But now it just went from an action movie to a horror movie.

It seems like Abiene might have an unexpected ally among the Hackdirtians after all. Zadok Allen perhaps? Part of me wonders if it might be a trap. But the truth is at this point they do not need subterfuge. With her magic silenced, the Hackers can overwhelm Abiene with simple numbers any time they want to. So I expect this stranger is on the up and up.
