Cool. These guys must have been all talk if they dropped so quickly. Careless fools.

Sorry for not posting for a while. Been a bit busy, and had minor writers block. Anyway...

Note: *There is not a known name for where Jessie and Alyss are, and since Jessie won't tell her what the place is, she has named it the Area.

CHAPTER 6

The small fire seems to have kept away the larger animals, if there are any, and it changes the lighting a little. Neither Jessie nor I know where we are, but all I can tell is that we are not anywhere near Cyrodiil. There are no suns, no moons, no stars....

The sky itself appears to glow a blood-red, omnipresent hue, casting a freakish look on everything, changing the shadows, twisting them into shapes that make no sense.

Jessie and I have caught a small Clannfear runt, so we roast it over our fire. I sigh and stare up at the sky, if you can call it that. The shading has not darkened nor brightened since our arrival in the Area*, so I have no idea what time it is, nor when the creatures this place inevitably holds come out to play.

I have nothing to do; Jessie still won't talk to me, so I am beginning to wonder if he is mute, and I have eaten all I want, so I take out a piece of parchment and a quill, and begin to write a log of all the creatures we have encountered both in Oblivion and the Area.

Barbats, large, blackish purple bats, found in the Area, presumably poisonous, silent and deadly venom.
Scamp, large humanish form, skin can be harvested, non-edible, found in both the Area and in ROP, fire-power.
Clannfear, size of large dog, leathery skin, edible (bitter taste, stringy and lumpy texture), found in both the Area and in ROP, no magicka, relies on claws (can be harvested) and horn (on head).
Dremora, Human form, various spells, armed, heart can be harvested and eaten, fast, found in ROP, non-edible.
Flame Atronachs, Woman-like in features, fire power, non-edible, attacks manually (jump) and with magicka. Fire salts (edible) can be harvested. Found in ROP.
Daedroth, large, alligator-like appearance, red eyes, magicka (reinforce health on self), manual attack (leap, bite, grab). Inedible, teeth can be harvested, also inedible. Found in both the Area and ROP.
Spider Daedra (with Spiderlings - summoned), Venomous, spider-women, instant death, attacks manually (with pincers and teeth). Inedible. Daedra silk can be harvested. Found in both the Area and ROP.

I set down the tools and lay back to the hot earth, exhausted and miserable. Only one thought invades my mind.

I want to go home.

~~~~~~
All of the creatures in the log exist, besides the Barbats, which I made up (duh).
Hope you enjoyed yet another short post! smile.gif
I'm very curious about this new place. Sounds like a depressing place though.
